Holiday rentals in Blind Pig Island

We had a great experience at Bob's cabin! It was extremely clean and cozy, which made us feel right at home. It is close to the snowmobile trails and there was plenty of room for the trailer. The place was so comfortable that our fairly anxious dog was able to settle in right away. We were blown away by the the amenities provided (coffee, hot chocolate, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) We will be back in the future!

Aubrey was very responsive. My husband left his favorite shirt and Aubrey responded to his message immediately and said she would have his shirt sent to him. The house was in a perfect location, within walking distance to all the bar, shops and restaurants. It is a super cute and clean house and the fenced in backyard worked great for our dogs.

Everything was great. Simple check-in and out. Location was great for my needs. All the amenities were laid out. I would definitely stay there again.

Margo was a fabulous host and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Rustic soundings with a well equipped cabin full of small touches that show what a thoughtful host we had. We went snowshoeing, bird watched, enjoyed the dvd and book collection, cooked great meals in the excellent kitchen, read by the fire, and relaxed in the jet tub. Margo also made our dog Roderick feel equally welcome with a dog bed and bowls and easy covers for the furniture so he could sit with us. We cannot recommend Margo and her cabin highly enough!

Amazing place to stay as always! Had one small issue but Pamela was prompt in her responses and fixing the issue.

We used the space primarily as for sleeping and place to get cleaned up after/before each day. We have family in town without room to house everyone. So our needs may not be the same thing others are seeking. The kitchen itself is adequate and the large fridge freezer would meet most families needs for storage. There was a lower level window AC that cooled that level nicely. The upstairs was a little more stuffy, but with windows open and a box fan running, it cooled down nicely for sleeping. The bedrooms were good sized and having 2 bathrooms with a tub/shower and a shower met our needs for a place to sleep, clean up. The location just a block off the main road provides easy walking access to shops and restaurants. That would be very attractive to many people. For people wanting the full stay experience with meals and leisure time the place would meet their needs. Would definitely recommend this place for the location and pricing. Suzanne was a good and gracious host!

Most immaculate place I’ve ever stayed. Spotless. There were 5+ deer directly out the windows during our entire stay. What a bonus! Coffee pot. Not a Keurig. Bring your own grounds. Kitchen is super stocked for cooking and eating. Some spices in cupboards. This place is SO private. No one around as far as the eye can see. Shagawa Lake is slightly visible from the upstairs, mostly if you’re sitting up in bed. Mattress is super, ultra soft. Not my style, but maybe someone else’s. Comfortably accommodates 2 people. 4 would be pushing it. No lock on bathroom door. We watched the sunrises and the sunsets. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return soon.

This space was absolutely spectacular. The photos do not do it justice in any way. I’ve never seen a view as amazing as this from a place I was staying in. It’s worth it for the view alone, then add onto that a Sauna, fireplace, big beautiful clean interior space, and too many more things to list. Also, and this is not a small thing, it is stocked VERY well. This is not an AirBnb that the owner buys, throws a couple pans and plates in, and rents it out. Significant care was put into thinking about what the needs of a guest are. It might not seem like a big deal, but a bedside lamp and side table when you’re reading in bed, big bowls for popcorn, rice cooker, crock pot… you name it. Our stay here was really something special. Can’t wait to go back.

Our stay was VERY peaceful and comfortable. The house had so much to offer for amenities. Lots of extra blankets and pillows, lots of kitchen stuff to make homemade meals, huge back porch, very spacious, & just all around perfect for us. We even finished a puzzle that was at the house in the board game cubby while staying haha Super nice, helpful, easy to get ahold of Host! Great deal for how much the home and host has to offer for a great comfortable stay! Thank You!
