We had an exceptional stay at Yohann's villa in Wadduwa. Yohann responds quickly and proactively, and was flexible when I had to make changes to the booking. The beach villa is tastefully decorated, inviting and comfortable. It is one of the few airbnb places where the living and dinning areas are also air-conditioned in addition to the bedrooms. We were in Sri Lanka for a family gathering and we couldn't have found a better place to spend the time together. The open verandah next to the pool is huge with multiple sitting areas and day beds. The sea breeze and the ceiling fans keep the verandah free of small bugs and mosquitoes which is a nuisance in many outdoor areas in Sri Lanka. The verandah remains cool day and night, and we hung out there for hours. The caretaker and cook, Gamini does an excellent job attending to any needs while at the villa in addition to cooking good meals. We look forward to going back the next time we are in Sri Lanka.

Amazing place with spot on hosting . We had a very relaxing and comfomfortable stay on the last two days of our trip. The property is beautiful and the host was excellent in taking care of us with her timely response and great advice. All amenities were thoughtfully placed and available with an excellent kitchen. the house was spotlessly clean and well arranged. The propertly is also very conveniently located almost midway between the airport and Colombo city. We were lucky this property was availabe and would recommend as a must stay when visiting Colombo.

Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. I experienced a excellent stay at Sudam's place. Sudam was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was nice, clean, and well-maintained. It was equipped with every essential item, including a washing machine, refrigerator, gas cooker, TV, water dispenser, clothes rack, hair dryer. Everything was properly cleaned and well-maintained. I reached well past midnight and Sudam was there to welcome me to ensure my stay is comfortable. Sidam also allowed me to checkout a bit late as my flight was late at night, which was very helpful. This place is just walkable distance from Colombo-Kaduwela main road and Thalehene bus stop. I used public transport for most of my visits to Colombo, so it was very conformatable to me. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets are available just in walking distance. I would highly recommended for everyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Baththaramulla-Thalahena area.

The apartment was perfect for our week in Colombo — loved the blackout curtains, super comfy bed and water view. Not only is a it a great apartment but the location is ideal being very walkable to shopping, groceries and restaurants. Shay gave excellent recommendations, namely Grind cafe, where I went with my baby every day. In the apartment building, there is also a kids playroom which was a great surprise. Between the apartment, playroom, pool and surrounding area we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely stay here whenever we are back in Colombo.

Wonderful Stay in a Peaceful Villa We had a fantastic stay at this villa, located in a quiet town outside Colombo. Our host, Sam, was welcoming and easy to reach. The house manager, Dinesh, and his wife live on-site, and they truly made our stay special. Dinesh provided great tips, drove us around, and was incredibly kind and humble. His wife spoiled our kids with delicious traditional Sri Lankan lunch, which they absolutely loved. The villa is divided into multiple rentals, so the pool and outdoor areas are shared. The nearest town, Mattegoda, has supermarkets and local restaurants. The area sees few tourists, but the locals are warm and welcoming—we really enjoyed getting away from the crowds. Food is very affordable, and curry, rice, and noodle dishes are great choices. English is not widely spoken, but we managed. Colombo is about an hour away by tuk-tuk, with an easy bus option too. A wonderful stay—perfect for those wanting authentic Sri Lanka in a peaceful setting!
