Bridle Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set next to Hartshay Brook and along a beautiful Bridle lane, amidst rolling countryside with stunning walks straight from the door. Lower Hartshay is a hidden gem, a tiny rural village in Derbyshire. The cottage is along a former tow path behind a picket fence. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

There are no screens, the lighting is low and warm, you will not hear a sound apart from the birdsong. For some, it is heaven.

16th century cosy stone cottage with large private garden, includes lounge, kitchen and separate dining room. Pretty sun room ideal for morning coffees. Two bedrooms, one twin, and one king size. Shower and toilet upstairs. Bed settee is in the dining room. Will easily sleep 6 but seating is limited in the lounge. The main bath and shower room is downstairs. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.

Situated centrally between the Derbyshire peak district & Sherwood Forest, close to Hardwick Hall. Good Pubs within Cycling distance or short drive. The Lodge has been purpose built with loving care, giving warmth, rustic appearance to blend in with nature.

Woolley Lodge Farm Retreat

A brand new fully furnished wooden lodge situated within the grounds of a working farm, with views across open countryside. The cabin has been furnished to a high standard and includes a double bedroom with double bed. The kitchen has a full size fridge with small freezer, full size oven and a microwave. Fox Cottage is easy to access by car, train or bus via Matlock. Located on the edge of The Peak District, natural beauty is in every direction. Two great food pubs within easy walk. There is so much to see and do nearby. Gardens, industrial heritage sites, stately homes, outdoor activities, ancient sites, river promenades. Something for everyone and every season. New Lodge Cabin

A cabin on wheels, made from locally sourced oak and larch. Set within a meadow, surrounded by woodland in Sherwood Forest. Shower with underfloor heating in a shepherd hut. Compost toilets. Outdoor pot washing facilities and dining area. A perfect off grid stay. Our smallholding has sheep, goats and chickens which graze often in the meadow depending on the season. Sherwood Forest and Sherwood Pines are all within walking/cycle distance.

Swift Retreat - converted farm building

You can either relax by the fire or head out onto some of the local footpaths or cycle trails. We have several pubs within a 20 minute walk. Matlock is a short drive away and if you fancy going further afield, we are about a 30 minute drive away from the attractions of the Peak District.
