Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Tucked away, yet close to the centre of Colne, Ivy Nest is a unique cosy cottage which has retained many original quirky features. This special place is close to everything, including nearby shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance on the doorstep. It's also close to great walking, with Pendle Hill and Wycollar close by, also Skipton and Bronte Country a short journey away. Ideal for a couple, or singles..Ivy Nest has its own private enclosed courtyard, and is set over three floors.

Lower Hawkstones Farm
Lower Hawkstones Farm is a 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion set high on the Pennines. It’s wild and windy and we can get snow in the winter. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular walks through woodland into the valley, or open moorland to the rear of the property. We have no public transport as the nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away so own transport is recommended. There are lots of interesting places to eat within 15 mins by car

Supermarket is 75 meters.

Located a 2 minute walk to Hebden Bridge Train Station. Two car parks within a couple of minute walk from the property free overnight between 8pm- 8am. There is also free on street parking a couple of minute walk from the property on Burnley road, the same road as the property.

2 Saw Hill is the perfect retreat for anyone wanting to delve into the beautiful countryside of West Yorkshire. This self catering home is located around lovely walks, close to local pubs and restaurants. Although surrounded by spectacular views the train station in Sowerby Bridge is a 5 min car journey away to reach further destinations including Manchester or Leeds. The hosts live next door and are available if needed.
