Holiday rentals with lake access in Borough of Fylde

We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Really enjoyable stay in a beautifully kept lodge. Lots of amenities nearby and surrounded by picturesque scenery full of cute lambs! The lakeside view is perfect and we really enjoyed showing our little one the swans and ducks. The living space is really big and plenty of room for babies on the move. Abigail is lovely and very responsive

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

Simon's flat is beautiful, clean and well kept! The surrounding area is idyllic. It was perfect for our stay within easy reach to Lark Lane and lovely park walks on the doorstep. Simon greeted us on arrival and had detailed written instructions / information to make our stay run smoothly. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you.

Excellent Airbnb with everything as described and to a high standard. Friendly hosts who provide a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. The location is peaceful and close to the waterways and beautiful views and sunsets. Good choice of eateries close by. Highly recommended.

I was delighted to stay in this Airbnb. I felt instantly at home, it was warm, cosy, v comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again. It was just down the street from the train station, and the local shops of Waterloo

Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

The place was gorgeous, views were beautiful, the pub ‘The Fenwick’ was lovely we walked to and from. Loved the chickens who stayed right by our side the whole stay! Just amazing. Wow what an incredible stay! This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, and easily my favorite so far. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Every part of the property from the cozy bedroom to the charming dining room, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful gardens was thoughtfully maintained and welcoming. We stayed in the Hermitage Cottage, which overlooks the river, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival, which was such a treat. One of the highlights was the peaceful walk around the island, surrounded by nature and the calming sound of the river flowing pure serenity. Jerry was the perfect host his clear instructions made everything easy and ensured we had a super comfortable and relaxing stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon, hopefully for a much longer visit. It’s the perfect getaway.

absolutely wish we could of had longer there ,we spent two nights for my sister's 60th we loved it

The lake house is absolutely stunning. Very open plan and spacious which we loved. Lovely view of the lake and very private. Cosy of a nighttime with the fire on. Was nicely heated. Never too hot or too cold. Had all the amenities we needed to cook. Hot tub was fabulous. The property was well looked after and extremely clean. We had a lovely welcome hamper which we appreciated so much! The only qualms we had was that the glasses were quite dirty so had to re wash those, there was a strange smell in the downstairs en suite bathroom when we arrived, it smelt like stale damp sewage, it improved slightly but never really went away. The bed was also extremely firm so back ached a lot in the morning (however that is personal preference, I do personally sleep on soft beds better) thank you for a wonderful stay. It really was beautiful! Xx

We had a lovely Easter weekend at Patty's Barn staying in the Purple Pheasant. This really is a special place for a peaceful holiday with beautiful nature trails and coastal walks close by. There's some child friendly activities on site via a games room and football and rugby pitches. The accommodation was very clean to a high standard and communication with Michelle was easy, warm and friendly. My advice is to visit Scorton nearby for a nice family day out - Cockerham itself it small and its a shame the local pub has closed but there is a fantastic brewery - a short 5 mile drive.
