Beautiful house, quiet location with stunning views and equipped with every comfort. The center of Cannero Riviera, a cozy village with plenty of restaurants, is about 30 minutes walking distance . The road to the village is steep but you get used to it...

We had a lovely time in this villa. It's a great location for a bigger group of people and the house is very beautiful! If you want to take a dip in the lake, you have to walk at about 15 minutes downhill.

Claudio is a friendly, kind and pleasant host. Always answers inquiries quickly, courteously and with a lot of good will to help. The house itself is lovely. Very comfortable and clean. Comfortable mattresses. The environment is beautiful and quiet and there are hiking trails nearby. There is a well-stocked minimarket 200 meters away. We really enjoyed our stay at the house and would love to return in the future. Thank you Claudio for a pleasant stay.

This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

The setting of Casa Cattaneo is so very beautiful The light is exceptional making the sunrise and sunsets something to look forward to every day. The house is a beautiful example of modernism at its finest. Whilst some amenities are less comfortable today the house offers an exceptional way to experience the local setting exceptional view of lake Maggiore and the culinary delights of the area.

Mario welcomed us with arms open to his beautiful home! The house was beautiful as in the pictures, very quiet. Mario helped us with anything we needed at any time. We felt very at home! We recommend to anyone who wants to have a peaceful home in a beautiful place with an amazing host to come to mario’s home. It is also close by driving to a big supermarket and to all the attractions this area has to offer. We definitely will be back again!!

Taking in the panoramic view of Lago Maggiore and the Borromean Islands with one's morning coffee... this is what we came to the Italian Lakes for. Simon was extremely helpful with directions for finding the place and everything else needed for an easy stay.

We stayed at the villa for a week after Easter and had great weather! The children are hopped daily in the heated pool while we were able to enjoy our cafe and especially the fantastic view. You have absolute privacy and feel very comfortable. Ms. Bannwart, who manages the house, gave us some good restaurants tips at the beginning and she was immediately available for questions. We highly recommend a stay!

This was our second time at this property. The place is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a luxurious vacation nearby Italian lake. We also give extra credit for the hosts due to they (and the cleaning staff) have made tourists’ life a bit easier on relation to very strict Italian recycling requirements :)

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!

It was a wonderful time at the great lakeside villa. Beautiful rooms, bathrooms and cozy corners for conversation. The children enjoyed the large garden extensively. Everything worked out great. Only the late check-in time we do not find the price and we have cleaned kitchen utensils again before use. Otherwise, happy to come back. Thank you.

Beautiful view of the lake - even prettier than the pictures. You will need a car to get to & from the home - the road to the home is narrow and up a steep hill. The air conditioning works well in the bedrooms - the living area was comfortable but would be warm during summer months. We would happily stay there again.

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

great location, magnificent views over Lago Maggiore, the pool is excellent, you can stay an entire day at the Villa and do nothing. the kitchen is a bit basic for cooking and inside is a bit less elegant. Also there was some dust under the bed and wardrobes. The main disadvantage is there are no blinds or shutters in any of the bedrooms and in summer it gets hot during the day and bright at 6 o'clock in the morning.

The true luxury is the incredible view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area, especially from the very nice living room. The pool area is also great and the warm hot tub was very welcome in November. Good location, quiet surroundings, about 5 min above Brissago, where there are restaurants and a beautiful lake promenade! Total enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed staying at Christina's place very much. If necessary, she was always there for us, but otherwise very discreet, hardly noticeable and visible even though she lives right next door. The large pool was great, except for the clearly audible duct traffic it was very quiet. There are many shops, Ponte Tresa and Lugano are quickly accessible and also in the village there are several easily accessible shopping opportunities within walking distance. Just great!! We stayed here the first time, but certainly not the last time. :-)

The landlord is kind and collected the exhibits for our exhibition in advance. The environment is quiet, and the house is very spacious. There is also a very large shopping mall nearby. It is more convenient to travel by car.

Hi Property has a great outside space which is why we chose it, Pool ,bbq, plenty of sunbeds, music system. Inside are huge areas but didn't really use as we visited in Summer. The interior is dated from a taste p.o.v but everything you can think of is supplied and its very clean and well looked after. Area is suburban but only 5 minutes from the lake and beach, 10 minutes into the old town with goods bars & restaurants. Great host always contactable.

Thanks to sylvia for her very warm welcome, she cares about the comfort of her guests and makes her beautiful apartment available to us as well as her private pool. Very well located for visiting Lugano and its surroundings, we had a dream stay with an ideal setting.
