Apartment holiday rentals in Braunton

The steps to the apartment from our parked car were as described. They are super steep & narrow. Not for kids, or if you need to push a push chair. Not for anyone with mobility issue. Apartment is super clean and tidy. Please be aware that this is a place surrounded by forests. You’ll get insects and slugs in the apartment which freaked my city son out haha. I think it’s because it’s summer as well. So if you’re like my son - might not be a place for you lol Really easy to walk into Lynton with nice cafes and restaurants. There’s only one tiny supermarket in Lynton so bring plenty of supplies. Kitchen is equipped with a kettle, hob, toaster and oven. A microwave would be handy. Bring your own oil etc if you’re staying longer and plan to cook. Bring your own toiletries although handwash & toilet rolls are generously provided. I think this place used to be a bed & breakfast as all the rooms in the Penthouse have numbers on the doors. Very quaint and cute.

Just got back from a fantastic few days in Woolacombe. Apartment was fab, clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need including buckets and spades for the kids (huge hit) Location could not have been any closer to the beach. Views were insane. Can not fault Chris the host. Very helpful and easy to get hold of. Overall would 100% recommend and we are all looking forward to returning again in the future

Wonderful views, nearness of shops and harbour was very nice,(didn't like the steep concrete steps down to door, and steepness of roads and paths back up to the flat was a bit daunting, if good for fitness!! ) Weather was amazing (25°C+several days!) Enjoyed a boat trip, lots of trips to chose from and easy to book. Sheep and lambs ,in field in front of flat, were lovely to watch! Everything we needed in kitchen, bed comfortable. Lots of places nearby to visit ,Hele Bay for beach, Woolacombe, Lynton and Lynmouth, Exmoor (with ponies!). Cliff scenery ,coves and caves,tremendous . Enjoyed holiday!

Emma was a Super hostess. Very responsive, attentive, friendly and caring. Lovely person! Her place is full of sweet little details that makes you feel cozy and right at home. Super clean! The place looks better than the photos and location match the description. It is a quiet place for being in the middle of town. You'll hear nothing, but an ocassional seagull or the bell of a chapel nearby. Have a lovely view from the bedroom window and a nice little garden. She have everything you need and more, even binoculars! (for bird watching). The flat is not the easiest to find 'cause is not right in front of a road, is more like in between alleys, but she's very clear on that and gives you all the instructions needed to get there without getting lost, and she'll want to make sure that you can get there. Ilfracombe is a beautiful place to explore, specially if you're a nature lover, and Emma's place is near everything. There's parking lots nearby and on street. I highly recommend her place.

We loved this place, the views were incredible and the interior had so much character. I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

A relaxing few days away spent in Caroline’s annex. A 15 min walk to the coast and the delicious fish and chip shop! Caroline’s home baked scones and biscuits were a lovely treat and the extras in the fridge provided us with breakfast on the first morning - no need to rush to the shops.

Very comfortable apartment in a spectacular setting. Views across to Dartmoor were marvellous and made even more interesting by the pedigree horses in the nearby fields. Brian was an excellent host. This location was convenient for trips to east Devon coast, Brixham etc. Extremely good value for money.

I was walking the coast path and Neal’s place a great flat as a base; clean, comfy and everything needed with a couple of restaurants and food shops very close.

What a special place this is. Me and my sister wanted to stay near the harbour as we know the area well, and Julie's apartment was perfect. It has the most wonderful views of the sea from the lounge and kitchen, plus the spectacular coastline from the balcony. As an added bonus the bedrooms look out over the town and harbour. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in and the apartment has everything you need - and some! It's warm, cosy and very clean; also so peaceful and relaxing to be able to sit and just watch the sea. Even though it wasn't warm enough for us to sit out on the balcony, we could still enjoy the amazing views. On the first night we enjoyed our fish and chips from nearby Maddy's and had a lovely meal in Santiago's the second night, which is also close by. It was very difficult to tear ourselves away after our long weekend!

We booked very last minute (on the day) and our hosts were quick to confirm and gave us all the information quickly for checking in. Location couldn’t have been better for surfing at Woolacombe and the outside shower for washing off after and hanging wetsuits was very helpful. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay! Thank you, we will be back!

We had an amazing last minute break here, we especially loved how there were lovely walks right from the door and we could also walk into Woolacombe to save finding parking. The location was perfect, accommodation was lovely and the hosts were too. Thanks so much for having us :)

Had a fantastic time at the Neet. It really was a perfect place to stay especially if you are visiting Bude. We brought our 2 dogs and the garden was a great place for them to stretch their legs, fully enclosed and huge. On arrival, Lisa met us and explained everything, we also had fresh eggs and scones. The place was spotless, cosy and had everything you need from an Airbnb. Highly recommended !

Fantastic apartment. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and the kids loved the amusement arcade. Highly recommend a stay there!

We had the best stay at Becky’s apartment for my husbands birthday. Everything was as described and Becky went above and beyond with the birthday request I had! She was very responsive. Everything was super comfy and clean and we had a great night sleep! We had everything we needed provided and the decor is lovely! Thank you so much again! We will definitely be back! We spent the Easter Break in Croyde and it was awesome. While our daughter did surf lessons, we took off on beautiful trails along the coast, which is stunning. Chantal's flat was perfectly located, we walked to the pubs and had good access to the rest of the coast. Lovely flat and we were able to take our poodle as well.

Really great place for a vacation, either a short or a longer break. Stunning place and very well cared for, with really comfortable and spacious accommodation, and nice common areas, especially for families. Very peaceful. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna are great, although a bit busy at times (as expected). Nice bar/play room with games for when the weather is not so great. Shame that the restaurant was closed for renovations at the time, but that was expected as it was mentioned in the listing. Area around is served by plenty and really nice, traditional pubs with good food and drink. Great experience, overall!

The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

Our stay at this property was absolutely exceptional! The views were truly amazing. The decor was also a highlight; it was stylish, comfortable, and made the space feel so luxurious. The fully stocked kitchen with top quality appliances and amenities was a dream. The comfy beds ensured a restful night's sleep. Having three showers was incredibly convenient for our group, meaning no waiting around! The air conditioning was a welcome relief and kept the property perfectly cool. The real stars of the show, though, were the incredible private pool and jacuzzi. We spent so much time relaxing and enjoying these fantastic amenities. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a truly luxurious and comfortable retreat. We have just come back from a magnificent one night stay in the Ash apartment! Myself and my partner went with our two year old son, he had a blast! We thought the apartment was super easy to locate, clean, tidy and we loved that we had all the daily essentials that would be needed including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, the bathroom bits and bobs, plus fresh clean towels, which was just superb! 😊 We had some time in the hot tub and it was so peaceful, overlooking all the greenery! 😊 We would come back without a doubt and Jennifer the host met us on arrival, she is so kind, friendly and approachable! 😊 Thank you for an epic one night break Jennifer, it was divine! 😊

The arrival was easy & property was easy to find. We went in low season so parking & going between the car park & house was simple. We arrived before 3 so the kids played in the little area for a bit. When we got in the house it was chilly, but the weather of late has been freezing wo no wonder. It took a few hours to warm up the house but we took slippers & simply kept our jumpers on. The kitchen was just fine for a holiday home. Vicky's communication before the trip was second to none! She contacted me not long after I'd booked to let me know the on-site facilities (pool, bar etc) wasn't open out of season in case I hadn't read it in her description. I'm really familiar with the area and know there's plenty to do in the area it wasn't a problem. To be honest, if all you did was use on the on-site pool, you'd miss out on SO much! Finally, I cannot express more the kindness of Vicky. We had car troubles as we were about to leave & she let us go back in while we waited for RAC. Amazing!
