Welcome to our 145 year old cosy cottage in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are located in a perfect location in the countryside in the quaint village of Defynnog on the A4067, 8 miles from the base of Pen y Fan. Our cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 adults, plus there is a sofa bed which could accommodate an additional 2 adults if required. Your own bOur aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible whilst here, and we will be at the end of the phone should you need us

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The cottage, opposite the Cathedral, adjoins one of Brecon's finest Georgian buildings, Grade II listed Priory Hill House, with which it shares a lovely half-acre garden on the banks of the River Honddu, with spectacular views of Pen y Fan. Tastefully furnished with Welsh antiques, a newly equipped kitchen, TV, & Wifi.

A cosy self-contained stone cottage in a peaceful green valley below Cefn Llwydallt. We're 1000 feet up and the views are brilliant! There's a remote, "get away from it all" feeling, but we're just 3 miles from the main A470 road, and a short drive from Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Builth Wells, and the Brecon Beacons. Perfect for a self-catering stay, downstairs is open plan, with spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a toilet; upstairs has two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

Bridge house. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons this refurbished traditional cottage is full of original features including oak beams and stone a fireplace. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. A few metres takes you to the nearest footpaths leading to beautiful hills, the Taff Trail or a pretty stream along a valley. Brecon mon canal a short walk.

Spacious 3 bedroom cottage in heart of Beacons

Cwmclyn Canol is a quiet and cozy cottage inside the Bannau Breicheniog National Park with a pub within walking distances and footpaths directly onto Pen Y Fan. The cottage was refurbished in 2022 to a high standard and boasts magnificent mountain views. Additional views include waddling ducks, squabbling chickens and honking geese. Good wifi, TV/DVD, films and a box of games. Kitchen has plenty of everything and there is a log burner in the living room as well as a firepit outside.

Superb 200 year old converted Chapel in the Wye valley. Ideally situated for Brecon and the Beacons, Hay on Wye, Talgarth, Builth Wells and the Elan valley. Walkable to the village of Llyswen which has 2 pubs, a local shop and access to the river Wye. Close to most outdoor activities including walking, cycling and climbing. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and a cosy living area with a wood burner, making it perfect space for a relaxing get away. The large, secluded garden provides a haven for birds and wildlife. Just 10 miles from the market town of Brecon, nestled in the Brecon Beacons; South Wales' highest peak Penyfan, is only a short drive away, making it an attractive tourist location.

Duck Cottage is a cosy house sat on the Brecon – Monmouth Canal. The property is shared with the duck squatters who frequent the garden. The property is perfectly positioned within Brecon town and all bedrooms have a canal view. Ideally situated with several local pubs, restaurants and supermarkets nearby (all within walking distance) while also centrally located for outdoor activities nearby on the canal and within the Brecon Beacons Park. Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.

Cosy couples bolthole with gorgoeus views in the stunning Brecon Beacons. Ideal for the active who want to get out and explore this beautiful area. The cottage is an old converted stable so cosy and charming in style. It has a lovely place to sit outside in the large garden which is shared with the other adjoining cottage. The garden has beautiful views. There are three residential labrabours so being dog friendly is essential. ❤
