Ecoshower in separate hut, (decommissioned in cold weather) and composting loo in woods behind. Wood stove (with an inital supply) and two ring gas camping stove with grill. Simple cooking and eating equipment provided. Comfortable 4 poster bed made with wood cut by beavers!. Z bed and hammock. Linen and towels provided.
“Although the accommodation in Hideaway is very basic that is part of it's charm. The separate shower worked very well with plenty of hot water, and the composting toilet although a little walk from the cottage was also fine. We needed to use the log burner but had no trouble lighting it as a starter kit was provided. We came to the hideaway to see the beavers, and we did , so we went away happy. It was very rainy during our stay, and quite muddy underfoot in places, so a good pair of wellies was essential. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return next summer.”
