This self contained 1 bedroom annexe with king size bed + seperate lounge with portable air con unit/fans, sofa bed, extra spare bedding , washing machine, dryer, WIFI , short walk (15 minutes) to beautiful river and canal path walks, farmshop or local high street. The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

We are dog friendly for a maximum of two dogs, in a perfect setting for walking and outdoor pursuits near by. The annex is on two levels, entrance, open plan kitchen, dinning and living room. This stunning, newly renovated cottage is located adjacent to Shibden Hall Estate, the ancestral home of Anne Lister, and inspiration behind the recent BBC period drama “Gentlemen Jack.” A mid terrace cottage with gardens, front and back and surrounded on all sides by green wooded areas. We’re only a 2 minute walk to the historic Shibden Park, where you’ll find a cafe, boating lake, land train and model railway, a well equipped modern playground and of course the majestic Shibden Hall.

This is a beautiful country cottage. The entire cottage is to rent with 3 double bedrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuous with top of the range bedding feather pillows and feather duvets. There’s one king sized bed . 1 Queen sized bed and 1 double bed. I renovated the place top to bottom a few years ago . Guests will have 2 bathrooms. If you like minimalist style this may not be for you, however if you love character, cosyness and a home away from home, welcome to my cottage!
