We had a loverly relaxing & comfortable stay in Oliviers place, he was easy to reach when we had a question & gave us restaurant recommendations which was helpful.

Un weekend prolongé extrêmement agréable dans un lieu plein de charme. Julie est joyeuse, a l'écoute et au petit soin J'ai rarement vu un petit déjeuner aussi copieux dans d'autres gîtes. De même, nous avons testé en supplément le repas proposé : un excellent rapport/qualité prix. Enfin la séance jacuzzi dans la cave troglodyte a fini de nous charmer Je recommande vivement ce logement

Cour de Liege is a gem within a gem! Anjou is already a treasure in the heart of France, but Laurent and Piritta's property is a pocket of paradise. Calm, scenic, rustic but elegant. Laurent and Piritta were the kindest hosts and really made us feel at home. They helped us learn about the area and gave us the investment of their time. Our children loved the countryside property and the horses, peacocks, and natural beauty. The farmhouse gite is tastefully restored and the beds were wonderful! We didn't want to leave! One of the best spots in France:) Thank you to Laurent and Piritta-- excellent hosts and wonderful people.

Exceptionnel, un véritable cocon. Marite et Louis sont d'une grande gentillesse, on se sent comme chez nous. Des bons conseils pour les visites. Bref, nous n'avons qu'une seule envie : y revenir.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez David. Le logement est conforme à la description et est calme et idéal pour un moment de détente. à refaire avec grand plaisir. David est un hôte sympathique.

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

We absolutely loved staying here and wish we booked longer than 4 nights! The area is so quiet and peaceful, with lots to do within a 30 minute drive, all recommended by Anneli and Jamie and things we probably wouldn’t have found if we Googled. The kitchen has lots of equipment and the bed was extremely comfy. Only thing we struggled with was how bright the bedroom was so I’d bring an eye mask if you need a pitch black room for the summer months. Perfect stay, beautifully decorated place and great location, we already want to come back!!

C'était notre troisième séjour chez Vincent, c'est un plaisir de revenir et de profiter de cette belle et grande maison, où vous pourrez profiter de ses équipements et de la tranquillité qui y règne. Vu le beau temps de ce week-end, nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la cheminée, mais nous avons hâte de revenir en septembre ou à l'automne afin de profiter de sa chaleur et de ses belles flamme devant une planche apéro et "une" bouteille de pétillant 🤪 A très bientôt Vincent pour un nouveau séjour chez vous 🖐🏼😀

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Laure, le petit-déjeuner est très copieux, pris en autonomie. Le logement est très cosy, proche du bord de Loire. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter du joli cadre à cause de la météo que nous avons ramenée du Puy du fou... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

We had a lovely week here, the property was peaceful and we enjoyed the gorgeous pool area that was larger than we thought it was going to be! With a variety of nature to look out for around the house the kids had fun looking for wildlife and watching the lizards. The house itself was a fantastic size for a family of 3 and a family of 4 not to feel on top of eachother. It was lovely to know we could call Peter and his wife if we needed. Overall we would recommend visiting.

Très bon accueil de Céline, on s'est senti tout de suite bienvenue. Le chalet est tout confort même en avril. Les jardins et la piscine chauffée sont très jolis et soignés, le cadre est magnifique. Le chalet est très bien équipé même si la TV et sa télécommande est un peu capricieuse. Il manque juste un canapé ou un banc confortable. L'accès est facile et la recharge pour véhicule électrique est un vrai plus. La situation est idéale pour visiter nombre de châteaux où abbayes dans les environs. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent, nous recommandons cet hébergement.

My friends and I (two couples) had a great time staying at this beautiful accomodation. The location is perfect - a quiet spot in the countryside with easy access to a local town for your morning pastry and a short drive from Saumur too! The accomodation itself was well kitted out and we enjoyed multiple uses of the BBQ, and the outdoor facilities on offer (pool, table tennis, maze + much more!) kept us very busy. The spot was also a great base if keen cyclists, as we are. We can't thank May enough for being such a wonderful host and would recommend the spot to all!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maison de la Louet! The many authentic details breathe history and ambience into the house. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided (e.g. oven, dish washer, etc.). The owner is very welcoming and friendly. The river Louet is really close and offers many forms of relaxation like walking/ hiking and swimming. Also the towns of Denée and Murs are within easy distance for everyday trips to the bakery and supermarket. Angers is close if you feel like shopping or a broader range of entertainment. Absolutely perfect! Our favorite out of many French Air BnB’s.

Lovely house, set up with everything you could need. The kitchen is very well stocked for kitchen ware and basics like oils and even flour (also well stocked for tea towels, which makes a change versus lots of places!). It felt very homely and cosy. Bedrooms were also very comfortable. The owners had also left lots of local information, which was super helpful (recommend Terra Botanica - wonderful). The village was ok but there’s not a huge amount there, which we should have realised on booking. The closest boulangerie seems to have closed down; the other one is very good. The main road isn’t very pedestrian friendly but you can walk along by the river. We hadn’t realised that the house is one side of the raised levee, so you can’t actually see the river from the sitting room and kitchen of the house, only from one of the upstairs bedrooms, which is at road level. Myriam and Colin were very responsive, practice about check in & extra time at departure and available to help if needed.

Had the most amazing stay at Coyère Gite. It’s absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and felt relaxed from day one. The facilities were incredible and the Gite was the best equipped we’ve experienced. Had great days out visiting Chateau’s, beach lakes, zip wires, stunning towns, markets and fantastic restaurants. To top it all off Steve and Suzanne were the best hosts, welcoming, friendly and really helped us to get oriented as it was our first time in the Loire’s valley, plus had lots of tips for days out etc Can’t thank them enough! Would love to come back next year! Thanks again

A beautiful setting in the grounds of Chateau Salvert, Le Pressoir is a solid, comfortable and relaxing space for two families to spend a week. Lots of open spaces for the children to explore, including the wild boar forest. I loved the short walk leading up to the chateau itself to access the large swimming pool behind, it really slowed me down. The swimming pool area was great for the kids with a lovely view down to the village where there is a bar/restaurant open at weekend evenings and in the morning for a coffee. A great base to explore the surrounding area of Saumur and several chateaus as well as troglodyte caves. There is a football pitch and park in the village which the kids loved to walk to. We enjoyed a personal and interesting tour of Chateau Salvert by Michel himself who was a very responsive and considerate host. Thank you to Michel and his family for a very enjoyable stay.
