Monthly Rentals in Brushfield

We had the loveliest time staying at Millstone Cottage! The cottage is stunning - amazing vintage decor, beautiful rural surroundings, and so lovely and cosy to return to after a days hill walking - we didn't want to leave! Sally was a fantastic host, very communicative and even gave us tips on local walks and where to see wildlife in the area (of which there's loads!). A real treat to stay here, we would definitely return!

We had a lovely stay with friends, in a great location & it was a beautiful apartment. We enjoyed the accessible walks with nice pub stops along the way. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of crockery, nice glasses & pots & pans. The only disappointment was that the essentials were a little sparse with no shower gel, little washing up liquid and small quantities of toilet roll, soap and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen was lovely but had some cupboard doors missing. The apartment was generally clean but a bit dusty around the edges.

A lovely little gem, exactly as described. The hideaway was clean and tidy and was a great use of what would ordinarily be a small space. Jasmine was kind enough to leave us a doggy care package and some treats for us as well, which was a lovely touch. Tucked away in a peaceful location it provided a great hub for easy access to Bakewell and The Peak District National Park, where we came to hike. Everything seemed to be just 10 minutes away! Jasmine also supplied local recommendations, the Packhorse Inn was a particular highlight with fantastic food and friendly service. I liked very much that Jasmine was keen to ensure our dog had a good stay as well. I felt very comfortable with our pup in the hideaway. Some other places I have stayed have often imposed extremely strict rules for animals but this was very relaxed and I felt as though Jasmine knew that we would respect her home as we would our own with our animals. My dog was particularly sad to leave the two roaming hens behind!

Four of us have just had a fantastic few days away in the cottage. Perfect getaway location with stunning views and fantastic hosts! Thank you so much for a gorgeous break! We highly recommend this cottage! Thank you Helen and Richard
