A very peaceful and lovely place. You’re surrounded by greenery and also lots of cats! It is also reachable by train. The host is very friendly and attentive, you have everything you need; like olive oil for cooking, a toaster, coffee, and even tea! You really get your money’s worth.

Very nice place to discover Ghent. A little away from the city center but within walking distance in worries. Very quiet overlooking the garden. A large "cabin" arranged and furnished with care, it feels good:) And what a beautiful light in the morning!

Recommended! Very nice stay, everything you need. You're even short of eyes. Beautiful domain, unfortunately just a little too cold for swimming. We will most definitely come back! Super friendly host and hostess! The dogs are also great.

Nanou and Nicolas were home on arrival and welcomed us very warmly. They had provided some things for us which was very thoughtful (coal for BBQ, some things in the fridge, etc.) The house itself was cozy, tidy, and clean. We had a little less weather that week, but during the sunny days, the garden is wonderful to be. Nanou and Nicolas grow herbs and vegetables themselves. It was nice that we could eat these herbs while cooking, on the BBQ, etc. The pool is quite large and clean. Communication with Nanou was very punctual. Both people were traveling but a message or a question was always provided with an answer! We definitely recommend a stay there!

We stayed in this cottage because me and my 2 friends had an internship for a week 20 minutes by bus from Diest. We found it very pleasant, everything we needed was present and Ariane was always very helpful!

The safari cottage was very welcoming. Kitchen equipped with everything you need and clean spaces. Parking in front of the front door is also very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the house was equipped with clean sheets and towels. The stay for 4 days with two children aged 8 and 11 was very pleasant. Thank you for your hospitality.

It was Beautiful to be a guest at Arnos. He was so nice and caring. Gorgeous space he build by himself and it was so cozy. We loved every minute of it. Awesome view and just perfect for a getaway for 2.

Great place to stay. You are met personally upon arrival and welcomed into this lovely, quiet place. Super apartment and we were pleasantly surprised of how nice it was. Own private garden and very quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be visiting again for sure.

Such a hidden gem - we had a wonderful stay! Kees and his wife made us feel very welcome. We visited with my elderly mother and my 5yr old and the property was ideal as it is all on one level. There are lots of lovely little touches in the property to make your stay comfortable- kids toys and games, tea and coffee and fresh eggs from their chickens! It’s a beautifully decorated home with comfy beds, a very large new bathroom, nice quiet outdoor areas to sit and stunning views of the countryside. Thank you Kees!

A wonderfully restful stay, perfect for a weekend getaway. The house was clean and tidy, the interior looked beautiful too. The spacious outdoor courtyard made it extra nice to relax. Highly recommended!

Great place. Close to public transport and a supermarket. Very clean and comfortable. We live to walk and it took us around 40 minutes to get to the city center and súper safe. The bathroom is in the room with only a divider so you better be comfortable with the other person you’re travelling with or married for at least 25 years. There is a separate toilet outside in the stairway. If like us you use the kitchen to cook, washing is a bit of a hassle as it has to be done in the bathroom sink. Not a big issue but worth mentioning.

i spent 2 days at Gaël's in April 2025. The space is spacious, fully as described and photographed, very quiet and clean. Shared spaces are very nice and functional. The location of the accommodation is very convenient to visit Brussels on foot. The neighborhood is quiet. Had a lovely stay!

I highly recommend this place for individuals or couples. As a solo traveller using an interrail pass staying at Gael's place near the Brussels-midi train station was ideal for me. I was able to easily catch the metro as well as to walk comfortably into the old town within 30 minutes. I was very happy to have a private room with shower/sink and I found the room very good for sleeping. There is a kitchen, cinema, dining and outdoor space to share with residents which was kept very clean.

The place looked exactly as described. The vibe and environment were even more comfortable than expected. The room and the common area had all the things you need to feel like home and prepare meals like home. The washing machine and dryer were clean and very functional. There is a cleaning lady coming every day to help cleaning the common area so it’s always quite clean!! Most importantly, the place is ALWAYS warm even during winter/spring. I was so grateful during the stay. While I have never met the host, the host sent very clear instruction and was helpful. The location was convenient but because it’s close to Gare du Midi, the neighbourhood could be slightly dirty and noisy at times. But it’s not a big problem. Highly recommend for longer stay!!
