A ten minute walk to Church Street and walkable to all of Burlington's City attractions. Purple Door Annex is an ideal space for guests seeking a fun getaway in the heart of the city that is private and well-appointed. This newly built modern rustic mother-in-law private cottage offers a convenient place to stay while exploring the Burlington/Winooski area. The cottage is nestled in my backyard on a quiet street in vibrant Winooski. The home is a 10 minute drive to downtown Burlington & the airport, and a short walk to the river, several cafes, restaurants, pubs, nature areas, and a brewery. Winooski is referred to as “the Brooklyn of Burlington” because of the foodie scene and rich cultural diversity.

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Not only is this place delightfully decorated but it is in the best area Burlington has to offer! You'll have a small view of Lake Champlain and a short walk to all the best restaurants and shops that Burlington has to offer. If exploring the outdoors is your thing we are steps away from Burlingtons bike path and walking distance to many bike rentals.

We still have a king bed, a queen bed, and the two twins that make up the Dream Sofa in the living room. Pets are still welcome! We have new stuff for kids too! We’re right near the beach and bike path!
