Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cáceres‎

Our stay at Duarte's cottage has been wonderful. We have been two couples with three dogs and we have all really enjoyed it. The house is completely rural, located on the outskirts of Campo Maior, in a very quiet area where you will not hear a single car. Very helpful Duarte at all times. Thank you so much, we will be back!!

Housing big enough for a family. It met our expectations as we were looking for a place to stay relatively close and good communication, but not within big cities. It has the necessary amenities, tidy and clean with good ventilation and brightness. The entrance can be self-contained. I do not consider it suitable for people with reduced mobility because you have to climb stairs and the entrance has a step that prevents access with wheelchairs. Parking is easy, right outside the door. There are cafes and small shops within a hundred meters radius and a small recommended bread office (Tahona Díaz). the owner, Andres, was quick to respond to messages and very cordial. In general, recommended if you're looking for tranquility and good connections to visit Extremadura.

The apartment was perfect. It was clean and everything worked fine. The location was excellent. Jose Luis was a friendly host and sent many instructions. Our stay was very successful. I can recommend the apartment and the beautiful city of Cáceres!

Jorge could not have been a better host. From the beginning the communication was very easy and responsive even given that my Spanish is muy malo and he doesn’t speak much English. However, we found a way to make it work and his directions were very clear. We went during the Easter celebration of Chiviri, so the town was very lively. The apartment is close to the Plaza Mayor (like a 30 second walk), so it is convenient if you want to see the older part of the city and eat at the numerous restaurant and bars. Overall we were very comfortable for our stay and would be happy to stay there again if we are back in Trujillo!

Second time staying here. The apartment is beautiful, one of the best Airbnbs we've used. It has everything, even the details you don't expect like a toothbrush or soap for the washing machine. Veronica responds super quickly to any questions and is very friendly. The area is ideal, you reach everywhere easily. I had to work for a couple of days and it was a luxury to work there.

We enjoyed staying here. Rustic living in peaceful susurroundings. Jantien and Walter are lovely hosts. They set us with good local circular walks. Location is a good base for exploring Caceres, Merida and Trujilo where there is lots to see. We also had an excellent dinner out at El 7 De Sillerrias in Trujilo. Love to return someday. superlative comfort in an unbeatable location for a fair price. Top marks for the friendliness, responsiveness and kind hospitality of the hosts, who provided an incredible selection of food and drink (in the fridge). We enjoyed the small roof terrace in the rear and the balconies overlooking the Plaza. Daily parking in the nearby Obispo Galeazo garage was convenient and reasonably priced at €12,45. The lively atmosphere of the adjacent Plaza Mayor emphasizes the special privilege of renting this apartment. Don't miss this opportunity.

Francisca was always available, gave us very useful directions and even mailed me a garment of clothes I had forgotten. It was very nice, friendly and the apartment was in pristine condition. Very close to the main square with possibility to park on the street.

Our stay at Angela's apartment in Cáceres was excellent. She greeted us in person with great kindness, which made us feel welcome from the first moment. The location is unbeatable, ideal for exploring the city by foot. Everything was spotless and well kept. Without question, a recommended option for anyone visiting Cáceres.

Everything went very well, I recommend. The apartment is very comfortable, there is a lot of equipment in the kitchen and Inés has given me some oranges and galletas. Silence and peace are very appreciable. The link with Inés is immediate : a maja person! See you !

For my bird watching in the Serena, the practically equipped and nice apartment was well located. Enrique is very friendly and helpful. The eggs from the family farm and the potato omelette of Enrique's mother must be mentioned as welcome gifts.

Very clean apartment with a small terrace and equipped kitchenette in a quite street. Parking is possible directly in front of the apartment. The location is perfect for getting to national park (10 mins). The host was very friendly and welcoming, lacking of English skills, but we managed everything with google translator. Recommended for - not only - bird lovers!

What a gem! From the moment you see the village, you know that this is a rare find. Both the surroundings and the stay are beautiful to the last detail! With lots of care and eye decorated for detail. The hostess was also always available for all questions. We'd love to come back.

The place was impeccably clean, well decorated and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cabañas del Castillo is a gem for nature lovers and people seeking tranquility. We stayed in Maite‘s apartment for 4 weeks in April and were sad to leave. Blossoms of millions of cistus, mixed with yellow gorse and French lavender decorated the landscape. Every day we had our own private show of dozens of griffon vultures circling above our head. We did several beautiful hikes in the Geoparque Villuercas Ibores and Jara, which were more beautiful than the hike we did in the Nationalpark Monfragüe. Maite was very welcoming and gave us lots ideas of what we can do. The apartment had everything we needed, the „bioclimatization“ was noticeable as we never felt uncomfortable temperature-wise. We are planning to come back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

Entry in nighttime without hassle. The best churrería in the town and the best bakery a few meters from the apartment. Very clean stay, it has everything you need to spend a few days and feel like you are at home. Free parking area in the building's garage. Yes there is possibility we will repeat!!
