A semi-detached country house, located in a beautiful valley in the Algarve mountains, more precisely, in the village of Cerca dos Pomares (5 km from Aljezur). "Casa Figueira" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Medronheiro," and this, in turn, with "Casa Videira." (see photo in gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

The two wooden houses, are set in a tranquil cork and eucalyptus environment. You´ll be rewarded by green grounds. The air is beautifully scented by the trees. As soon as you arrive, “the final 600 meters are on an unpaved road, typical for the Algarve countryside,easily accessible with a regular car and part of the boho, slow-living experience” you can go for a swim in the azure pool or read a book on your terrace. As serene as you could hope to find, yet an easy drive from wonderfull beaches.

The living area features a cozy seating arrangement with a woven sofa and colorful cushions. A dining table with four chairs occupies part of the space, while a decorative wall piece enhances the atmosphere. A small television is mounted on the wall opposite a window.

Cozy Beach Apartment W/ Sea View, Free Parking &AC

Our private house is located in a peaceful condominium only 10 minutes walking to nearby beaches and center of Carvoeiro. It was built by architects with the idea of resembling it to old constructions around the Mediterranean/North of Africa. My family fully renovated the apartment in July 2023 respecting it's architecture and using local materials. Some furniture was handmade by my father using recycled materials from the house, such as the high quality wood for the dinner table or the closet.

A small balcony is presented with a minimalist table set for two, featuring elegant tableware and glassware. The stunning view of the sea and surrounding landscape is visible through an open space, highlighted by bright blue skies.
