Apartment at the foot of the Luberon

Our apartment is located on the ground floor of our house, on the edge of the village of Cadenet, close to Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Situated in a small residential area, facing the Durance plain, our house is very bright as it is south-facing. Our location at the foot of the Luberon allows you to easily discover Provençal villages with their local markets and spectacular landscapes. Cadenet is also only 35 minutes from Aix en Provence and 45 minutes from Avignon.

Charming hideaway in Lourmarin

Charming and spacious studio located in the center, in a renovated three century-old home. Ideally situated 40 m. from the main street with restaurants and shops; nevertheless the studio is in a quiet area along a small creek, with a view over gardens. Quaint studio has access to a Provencal and Japanese inspired garden with a large lawn, water features (waterlily and fish ponds), outdoor kitchen (sink, plancha, bbq, dinnerware), and a gazebo with 4 loveseats. Wifi access from the garden.

Charming cottage at the foot of the Luberon

Located in the middle of the countryside, in a very old building, a 65 m2 cottage completely renovated with swimming pool (4 m x 9 m). Stunning views over the village and the Luberon. The accommodation attached to the main house where the owners (1 couple) live year-round, is very well separated with its own entrance, private pool and adjoining garden (300 m2) The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the garden where there is a shelter with a lounge to relax and possibly have meals.

Notre maison provençale, située en campagne entre Cadenet et Lourmarin offre un cadre idéal. Lou Vabre a été entièrement rénovée en 2023 : grandes ouvertures pour une abondance de lumière naturelle, volets électriques, climatisation, la maison offre un parfait confort. A l'extérieur, espaces aménagés pour profiter de chaque moment de la journée, notamment une pergola ombragée, un jardin d'hiver, un jardin sec d'agrément, une terrasse sous un tilleul, et un abri pour les voitures.

While the village is full of charm with its castle and semi-troglodyte houses, it is at the center of the most visited villages of this beautiful Provençal region: Castles, forts and oppidum, cedar forest or ocher quarry, filming location (Jean de Florette, the Glory of My Father, Espigoule, etc.), Festivals (Aix, La Roque), Hiking, canoeing (Durance) and even Sea and Mountains are 1 hour away by road.

The "Sainte Victoire" suite is located on the third and top floor of Maison Arborescens. This large building where I paint, draw and where I also live is representative of the "Maisons de Maître" typical of Provençal villages. On the street side, a large porch welcomes you, on the plain side, a large garden with pool awaits you. To reach your suite perched under the roofs, you will take the central staircase with remarkable volumes and bathed in the sun of Provence.

On the edge of the hamlet of Lointes Bastides dating from the 17th century, the house opens onto a 2 hectare garden at the foot of the Combe de Lourmarin. Perfect for nature holidays or remote work (100 Mbps fiber internet connection). The 120 m2 house is composed of a living room with a large wooden table, an open kitchen, a wood stove for the winter opening onto the private terrace. Both bedrooms with bathroom are equipped with a desk.

Our charming apartment "Les Balcons de Mary" is a real gem in the center of the historic district, on the second floor (no elevator). It has all the comforts necessary for an unforgettable stay: living room, equipped kitchen, one bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with shower, television, Wi-Fi access, sheets and towels provided.
