Haven of peace - the garden studio

The studio is located in Quartier Saint Catherine, the historic centre of the old fishing port of Honfleur. Just a short stroll away from the Vieux Bassin and its many bars and restaurants, it is also well placed for shopping and for visiting the town's museums and galleries. On arrival you pass through the entrance hall of my house to discover the studio tucked away at the end of a courtyard garden. The only sounds you will hear are the singing of the birds at dawn and their early evening chatter. A modern spacious room with high ceilings, it has a private shower room and a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave oven, fridge & ceramic hob for preparing light meals. There is a comfortable king size bed and a sitting area with armchairs, tv and dvd player. A single bed can be added for a third adult or child (at additional cost) and a baby cot is available. Its doors open onto a small private terrace, ideal for taking breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The studio is self catering. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as are tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo. HONFLEUR AND THE REGION Honfleur has a superb market every Saturday selling seasonal fruIt and vegetables, local cheeses, oysters, country ham and free range poultry. The local beach is a 10 minute walk away and the well known resorts of Trouville and Deauville are 20 minutes by car. The D Day landing beaches, the Mont Saint Michel and Monet's house at Giverny are all within a couple of hour's drive of Honfleur. A few kilometers inland is the lovely, gentle rolling countryside of the 'Pays d'Auge' famous for its cider and Calvados production and for local cheeses such as Livarot, Pont l'Evèque and Camembert.

In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, near the Cider Route, Pierre, Maria & their faithful companion Robby welcome 🐶 you in a bucolic and green setting. Located 5 km from Lisieux, the accommodation is in a typical Normandy outbuilding, and consists of a living room, equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. A pull-out bed is in place in the living room but will be more suitable for children. Our accommodation is suitable for people with reduced mobility. WIFI available.

The sea is also within easy reach in 15 minutes by car or with the buses available in the city center.

Small quiet house

Our small house is located in a small town 7 kilometers from Bayeux and 30 minutes from the landing beaches. The small house is located behind ours with room for cars in a closed courtyard. It includes a living room (with a 130 cm sofa bed), a large bedroom (with a 160 cm bed), an equipped kitchen and a bathroom with toilet. We can provide you with a baby crib and high chair. Outside, dining area with barbecue.

The annex of the old presbytery

You will stay in the annexe of an old Priest's house, by the side of the church in a village between Bayeux and the Normandy War beaches, renovated by the owners, who are a French-English couple. You will probably cross their lovely dogs, Tokyo, a bearded collie Atlas and Arya, her babies born in august 2025, and their cat Sushi.
