The cottage is in a superb setting on a south facing hillside with panoramic views across miles of fine Yorkshire countryside. It is approximately two miles from the centre of vibrant Hebden Bridge where there is an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, coffee bars, art décor cinema, theatre and markets. The cottage has been recently refurbished retaining many original features but with all the modern comforts inc a fully fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove.

Situated on the cobbled Hough, our recently renovated, 18th century building boasts two en-suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen/diner and a cosy , first floor lounge with panoramic views over Shibden Hall and estate. "Our small riverside terraced cottage boasts an idyllic view across the River Calder and Rochdale canal and up onto the wooded valley sides. Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. Whether you are cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in front of the wood burning stove, laying in bed or luxuriating in the gorgeous feature bath, there is a stunning view to be seen from every window. If you are lucky you may see an otter or mink swim by.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!
