Holiday rentals with beach access in Caledonian Canal

Centrally located, walking distance from the pier with private parking. Hard to find a better spot in Oban. Very clean, very well-equipped, large enough and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is great and there is a bit of a view on the harbour. Lorraine is an attentive host and very responsive. A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed in this property before - it is very well maintained - easy to get to and parking. The location looking out to the sea one side and the marina the other is idillic. Kevin is a great host - highly recommend if you are that end of the country. Highly recommended

A lovely stay with the most amazing views.

We had a fabulous stay at Sue’s. The apartment was immaculate with stunning views. We ate once at The Applecross Inn and also cooked out on the beach … two fantastic meals ! We will definitely return and highly recommend Sue’s house to our friends.

Lynne's place is super clean and comfortable and we spent a great evening there. The beds are large and comfortable, the place is very clean and quiet and in a nice neighborhood not too far from the center of town. It had everything we needed (including a washer and dryer!) Lynne is also a great host and was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Another amazing stay at Harrapool. It is always lovely to be back in this quiet and scenic property with plenty of amenities, cosy atmosphere and friendly hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to visit again when back up in Skye

Pictures of the view from the main living room/dining room was what drew me to the property and the reality did not disappoint. The house was very homely, comfortable and Isabella was friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated that there was plenty of comfortable seating for the number of people the house can accommodate to sleep. The dishwasher did not work during our visit which was an inconvenience as we were a large family group who cooked regularly during our visit, so clearing up took significantly more time than we would have liked, but once Isabella was made aware, she did not hesitate to get it seen to as soon as possible. Unfortunately it could not be repaired during our visit but I cannot fault Isabella's reponse to the situation, it was just unfortunate. I would definitely recommend the property; it is clear a lot of thought has gone into the property to make it as comfortable as possible for guest. Thank you.

John was a fantastic host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or property. The views were outstanding and we could have easily just gone for those but the house was plenty big enough for 8 adults and 3 children, they didn’t want to leave. It was very clean with clear instructions. We would highly recommend John and his property!

Me and some friends stayed in Katherine’s house. This was a lovely experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting the area. Lots of beautiful views and scenery on the doorstep of this property.

Another wonderful stay at St Trinneans. Plenty of room for 3 generations of our family - 7 in all. We've stayed her a few times now and Karen is always easy to contact and very friendly to deal with. Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

Such a perfect little spot close to some of Scotland’s most breathtaking scenery. Lorraine was a great host, who communicated well throughout our stay (and even left us some eggs from the hens).

This was the perfect family holiday location, the house had everything and more than we needed. You could walk to the beach from the house in 2 minutes. The beach was perfect for leisurely toddler strolls and evening runs. We cannot wait to plan our next trip, this home is an absolute gem of a find and we hope to return soon. This apartment was outstanding and Hazel has given much attention to detail and nothing has been forgotten. We had everything we needed and more. The place was spotless and had beautiful furnishings and we all got that cosy, relaxed vibe the minute we arrived. Lovely views over the river, and you can catch a glimpse of the sea over the rooftops. A few little extras were provided for my son's 30th birthday which made it even more special. We all had a great time here and can definitely recommend, it will not disappoint. Thankyou.

James and Anna have a wonderful apartment in an iconic building in the heart of a beautiful town. The rooms are large, bright and nicely furnished and the views are fabulous. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and delightfully peaceful. Communication was prompt and friendly, there was a very useful Information Park, and entry was straightforward. I stayed for seven nights in April and would not hesitate to recommend the penthouse.

Great and tidy place with very nice supply of things for our 1 night stay. There was 1 flight of stairs as mentioned in accommodation description. Norma communicated well and we had no issues. Would go again

I was drawn to Onie's place because it looked cosy and homely in the photos. Well, we weren't disappointed. It was very comfy and we enjoyed the board games. Stunning views in both directions from the windows.

We had a great stay here! The place was comfortable and well-located, with easy access to local shops and restaurants, which made everything really convenient. Stephen was a great host—very responsive and even offered us an extra hour for late check-out, which we appreciated (though we didn’t end up needing it). Just a heads up for future guests: off-street parking isn’t permitted at the property, but there’s a nearby solution—Library car park is just around the corner and worked out fine for us. All in all, a pleasant and easy stay.

An absolute gem of a place. Great accommodation with phenomenal surroundings - brilliant views of the Torridon mountain range. The accommodation was clean, very spacious and catered to all our needs. Sam was an excellent host. Friendly and always responsive.

The Editor’s Choice is a lovely apartment: quiet, spotless and close to restaurants and the port. We appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, the plants and the tasteful decor. It is up three flights of stairs, so make sure you’re travelling light! The reward for getting up there is the fine views to the south, across the port and up to pulpit hill.
