Waterfront holiday rentals in Calhoun County

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

The place was cozy and cute. Sleeping arrangements are cozy with a bunk bed and queen in the bedroom, so make sure you're OK with that. It's right on Thornapple river and we loved just sitting out there and fishing for our one day stay, my nephew caught 3 bass! The hosts were very responsive. Definitely would stay again!

Great stay very communicative host!!

I had no issues upon arrival entering the space. Easy, clear cut directions. Space is clean, tidy and perfect for a weekend getaway. Hot tub was nice with a great view of the lake. I felt comfortable staying here. I would visit again.

We stayed during the off season but I have to imagine this place is amazing during the summer. We had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake.

Beautiful location, unfortunately it was dark and raining when we arrived but it was still beautiful and comfortable. We would love to visit again someday

This was a fun & relaxing vacation for us, our kids and the grandkids. We really never left the place except to take the boat out. The kids and grandkids had a blast in the water and the shallow water was perfect for the young ones - they especially liked the water trampoline! The house is very spacious so we never felt crowded and my daughter was able to ‘work from home’ there utilizing the desk upstairs and the picnic table on the deck one day. The kitchen offered us everything we needed for food preparation so we didn’t have to go out to eat. We would recommend Karen’s place to others.

We had a wonderful time and spent a lot of time on the fantastic back porch. This is how every Airbnb should be! The beds, bedding, baths and kitchen were excellent.

This beautiful old house is a gem - it's as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans. And the lakefront is just so special - clean, well kept, and inviting. We have been going for over 10 years and love it today as much as the first time we visited.

A wonderful lake house for my family. The house has everything you need. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and there's lots of fun stuff for playing on the lake. Very comfortable inside and out. We had a great time!

If you are looking for a great way for everyone in the family to enjoy the lake this is the place to go I look forward to having another vacation here in the future

Hosts were extremely flexible and attentive. I was able to host friends and family to attend graduation. The house is beautiful and spacious, with kayaks and direct access to the river. Location is located within a relatively secluded road. The property is fairly distant from Kalamazoo/Portage area. Overall great deal if you don't need close proximity to Kalamazoo
