My boys and I had a wonderful stay at Barley Cottage. Stephen and Philip are amazing hosts, super friendly, very knowledgeable of the area and great conversation. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the shower was great. Water Newton is an idyllic little village just a stones throw from Peterborough, but a world away! We loved every minute of our time there.

We always stay with Gill when we’re over in Bedford visiting our family. Her place is convenient, homely and ideal for us, and is great value for money. Gill is so lovely and welcoming, and she even brought down books and toys for our daughter, and left an Easter egg and bunny for her on the Sunday. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town, thanks Gill!

Karen’s place was very nice and as described. There was a set of breakfast treats to make life easier and milk, tea and coffee provided. Check in was smooth and easy with Karen leaving clear instructions. There was a window of time in which guests were asked to not be in as the room would be cleaned/inspected. As I was at work during this time it wasn’t an issue but if you were staying a prolonged period it’s something to keep in mind.

Stephen is amazing, personable, responsive, ready with helpful actionable suggestions if you need them . The place itself is on a beautiful , riverside property, with beautifully maintained garden, swimming pool. It is 10 minutes drive from Peterborough and 25 minutes form Stomford, and has many trails and walks around that you can explore.

We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

Helen's place was perfect for our stay in Over, Cambridgeshire. We were visiting my husband's family and we enjoyed being able to walk to the pub to meet with them. Helen's place is in a quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

This place is perfect for a quiet getaway. The hosts are fantastic and the lovely warm pool is great to play in with the kids. You can even go fishing at the end of their garden ( which I took full advantage of!!) or just relax with a glass of wine and sit looking over the river. We look forward to returning next year.

William is a super host. seeing is spectacular and place is spotless. the cottage is on the small side, but that is clear from the listing...

Lovely place and great location close to Stamford centre. Accommodation as described with everything needed for a 2 night stay. Host was very responsive and helpful.

A cosy & comfortable place to stay. Janie was really welcoming & helpful. A beautiful garden to sit in & listen to the birds singing. WiFi was good & parking on the road was fine. The George Inn a short walk away with a selective menu.

Dallas was a perfect host. My room was clean and fresh and the little touches like cereal and treats was lovely. I have no problem recommending people to stay here.

A great spot to stay! Valerie and Steve are lovely and we had everything we needed. Especially recommend to any bikers needing accommodation while visiting F2 Motorcycles, which is virtually next door.

Isabel is a lovely host and is very proactive in her communication and in providing helpful assistance. The Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay, it was spotlessly clean with excellent furnishings and amenities, and was very comfortable too. Isabel's additional touches such as breakfast items and sweet treats were very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. The Hideaway was the perfect base for us to explore nearby Anglesey Abbey and Central Cambridge and we would highly recommend both the Indian Ocean Restaurant and Histon Station House as excellent local restaurants both in walking distance of the Hideaway too! We highly recommend anyone considering staying at the Hideaway to do so 😊

Got to say, it was a wonderful stay! Magnificent apartment. Had everything that I needed for the week and more. I was welcomed by the host Rosa and her husband, they were very polite, very welcoming and great hosts. Rosa personally showed me around the apartment, showed me where everything was and how everything worked and explain things. It’s a very nice location very quiet village surrounded by lovely farmland ideal for anyone who’s is looking for a stress free and quiet rest from life. Rosa is a great host, constantly checking up on you through text or personal. Making sure that everything is fine with your stay and if there’s anything that you need or she can help with throughout your stay with them. Highly recommended and if I am in the area again, I will definitely stay there again without doubt

The place and the host are incredible. Private room with its own living room, everything was utterly clean and If you are fancy in a walk the sorrounding area is full of fields and country side. I highly recommend it.

Well what a perfect little place!!! So welcoming and cozy Lots of extra little touches such as Gaviscon(!!) and tea bags biscuits etc. The bed was really comfy and the surroundings were so peaceful We really loved our flying visit and we are sorry we didn’t have longer to chill in the patio area! Thank you again I hope we will be back to visit soon

This was the 2nd time staying at Nikki’s place and again we were not disappointed. Beautiful room, everything spotlessly clean. Super comfy bed and great shower. Beautiful area and so quiet. Nikki is a fab host and I can’t recommend the Garden Room highly enough.
