Tulls Bay Getaway

TracyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Holly's place was wonderful! Check in was as easy as it gets. When we first walked in there was a very thoughtfully put together welcome basket, with all kinds of goodies and all the ingredients you need to make s'mores. Which the kids absolutely loved. The house is very clean and comfortable. With plenty of room for a family of 6. The kitchen had everything you need. The bathrooms are fully stocked. And the fire pit and backyard is just great! Very peaceful. Holly is a very thoughtful and responsive host. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We would love to stay again if ever in town.

River Shore Retreat

TaylerRating, 5 starstoday
The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch

The River House

RobRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Lovely, quiet spot with neat dock. On east side of the Pasquotank River so perfect for sunset pics! Anna's a great host - friendly and responsive - and the home has a relaxing, welcoming vibe. There's a restaurant down the street, but they close early on Sundays so we went to nearby Elizabeth City and explored the scenic historic downtown, dining at Tooley's Tavern and discovering an incredibly tasty (not spicy) ghost pepper porter at Seven Sounds Brewery. Another discovery next morning was the delicious "Scottie" frappe at Muddy Waters Coffeehouse, right next door to the remarkable Burfoot-Toxey House (1901) with its turreted bay windows. Savannah, our waitress at Tooley's, recommended we stop on our way home at the far older Newbold-White House (1730) in Hertford just 20 mins west. Since we were the only visitors there on a Monday morning, Jeff and Dee gave us a personal tour of the interior, garden, museum, and a replica periauger workboat used in the film Harriet! Thanks !!!

Sound Front Cottage

Michelle’s cottage was clean and convenient. It was right on the sound with beautiful views and a private dock. The neighborhood was very quiet. Michelle was helpful and responsive and we look forward to staying there again in the future!

Cozy Home in Historic District

JulieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the perfect place for our group! We attended the NC Coastal Bike Ride and this place allowed us to ride our bikes to the starting point and back. It was also a comfortable place for us to hangout and rest. We would definitely recommend.

Pet Friendly Private Waterfront Cottage

ShellaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house was immaculately clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The surrounding views were so beautiful and relaxing. Our 2 dogs enjoyed sniffing around the yards and exploring. Dog treats, bowls, and beds were provided which was a nice touch. We spent the days exploring Edenton and Elizabeth City, and we had cozy movie nights with their smart tv. Restaurants are at least 20 minutes away which wasn’t too bad. There’s a convenience store 5 minutes up the road that also does pizza orders. We tried it one night, and it was super good! We thought this was awesome because the house was in a pretty secluded but peaceful area. Thanks for a great weekend! Definitely made memories here to last a lifetime with my family and fur babies.

The Secret Treasure- 1.5 acres- Amazing Backyard!

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house and location were perfect for our needs. Michelle was responsive to all our questions. The bedrooms are very large and the backyard was awesome with a fireplace, grill, lighted area and cushy couches and chairs. The downstairs had an open concept and the decorations make us feel right at home. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. I'd stay here again without question. 5 stars in every category!!!

Serene waterfront retreat w/ private dock & kayaks

JeniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated-calm vibe. So cozy and comfortable. I’m also an Airbnb host and I can tell you this space is wonderful! Well worth the price point! Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Can’t say enough. 10/10.

Beautiful home with nice touches all around. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. Andrew was kind and very responsive. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle that's still within an hour of VA Beach.

Cabin on Albemarle Sound w/ Dock & 2 Kayaks

AnnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
10/10! I enjoyed my stay so much I've already booked another stay there! The home was very clean as was evident by the prevalent smell of air freshener and fresh-smelling cleaning products. I have a very sensitive nose, so for me it was a bit much, but the issue was quickly and easily resolved by letting in the fresh ocean air. The home was extremely well-stocked and the bed was very comfy. The host was responsive and friendly, and the location is perfect -- very idyllic and peaceful.
