Castle holiday rentals in Campania

Exceptional castle with terrace and sea view at height without any visual obstacles. Accommodation in a loft on the sixth and top floor but with a very high ceiling and stucco dome. Modern furniture (we like it or not…). Functional and in good condition. Two large windows with hallucinating views of Niori harbor. When Daniela tells you to take a small car to get into the castle: listen to it! All within walking distance.

Our stay in Charming House was wonderful! The apartment felt spacious, comfortable, and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The views of the port, hills, and sunrise/sunset from the terrace were absolutely stunning, and we found ourselves spending a lot of time just soaking in the scenery. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond by upgrading us to the nicer of the two rooms, recommending and arranging a taxi to the train station, and graciously accommodating our request to stay an extra night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salerno!

We were there for five days and they were wonderful days. The location is great if you don't want to be too touristy. We had got a Ford Puma from the car rental and it was a wonderful fit. Although driving is different than we were used to from Germany, but in paae days it worked out quite well. The place was beautiful, the view a dream and everything you needed was available. The host was available for questions, communication went smoothly. Check in and check out was flexible. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The location is good as much to go in the direction of Pompeii , Herculaneum and Naples, as well as to visit the Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi coast. The castle where the apartment is located is sumptuous, with park, garden and panoramic terrace. The station is a 10-minute walk away and trains are convenient. The host was super friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Francesco’s place . He is the most responsive host I have ever seen and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable . His place is wonderful and a great location from which to explore Minori and other places on the Amalfi coast .

Maria Cristina was an amazing host for our trip. We were looking for something a bit different and the setting of a castle with stunning views, in a great location, and this hit the nail on the head. We couldn't have felt more welcome with great communication all the way through, as well as a plethora of restaurant recommendations not only in Vico Esquense, but when we travelled to Naples too. We made the mistake of hiring a car, which was absolutely not needed given the transport options available, both trains and buses in the local area. Getting to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples were so easy, and the bus to Amalfi or Positano would have been easier than driving. We would highly recommend for a honeymoon or baby moon and will be recommending to anyone we know coming to the area.

Great and beautiful garden setting. Would love to return in warmer weather to enjoy the garden. Loved the town of Vico Equense. Some amazing food places. Felt very welcome in this very unique place. The apartment is very intimate but comfortable.

What an interesting place to stay and Stefano was totally brilliant in looking after us from start to finish. Even though my Italian is very bad he was very attentive and helpful. Lovely little town with stunning views. Thanks Stefano!

Gessica and her husband were wonderful hosts! They really deserve more than 5/5! From the first contact for booking, Gessica wanted to see how she could best accommodate us. She had gluten free snacks for my daughters and I and made us a delicious breakfast that included gluten free pancakes! She recommended a lovely restaurant in town that’s had delicious antipasti and pasta. She also helped set up guided horseback riding and we got to see the beautiful countryside. It was amazing to stay in a castle! The accommodations were like the photos and the location is just beautiful. Gessica and her husband really went above and beyond to host us. If we ever make it back to Italy again, we would love to come back to stay here again! Thank you both so much for such a lovely time in San Marco dei Cavoti!
