This was a great place to go on a solo trip as it felt private enough but still safe, knowing that the main house was close. The place was exactly like the pictures and had all that you needed for a few night staycation. Carla was a great host she was very communicative, friendly and gave very clear instructions. I loved the booklet full of information and pamphlets, it gave me ideas of what to do and see in the area. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting the area. Thanks Carla!

Beautiful, peaceful cottage, it was very clean, well equipped kitchen and excellent laundry with above average cleaning supplies, which was great, as we were travelling with 2 young kids. Great secured area for the car, with gate, which was handy while unpacking the car, with young kids. Can highly recommend.

Lizzie’s place was a lovely, spacious retreat for a quiet couple of nights away from the rat race. We brought our mini schnauzer Nelson with us and he, like us, felt right at home. We’d thoroughly recommend Lizzie’s place to anyone wanting to explore Castlemaine and surrounds.
