There is a supermarket in Charco and several good island-typical restaurants in Mala and Arrieta, where there is also a long, flat sandy beach, suitable for children and surfers. A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers. Several hiking trails start behind the house. The most beautiful leads directly to the excursion point “Jardin de Cactus”, by the famous island artist César Manrique.

Die schönsten Wanderwege liegen gleich vor der Haustür. Bis zur Stadtmitte und zum Strand sind es 3.5 Kilometer. Das Dorf San Pedro, sind es auch nur knapp 3.5 Kilometer. Das nächste, gute Restaurant heißt ALMENDROS, und das ist 1 km von dem Gästehaus entfernt. Hier ist keine Klimaanlage notwendig.
