Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Canyon Lake

David’s place is even better than the photos. Charming, FULLY stocked with kitchen supplies, roomy and well cared for. We enjoyed using the fireplace and cooking in the kitchen, which has anything you could need, including spices.

We really enjoyed our stay! The one thing I would like to note is the house is a duplex, not a single residence. The home was charming and my family had a great stay. We had an issue with the coffee maker not working day 1, but Woody took care of it by sending a working one. The tv screen also had an issue, but it wasn’t really a problem because we didn’t need to watch tv. We used the hot tub everyday and loved it. Overall we would recommend and definitely stay there again.

We’ve stayed in 4 Lake Arrowhead Airbnbs in the last two years and this was our favorite. It was immaculate (cleanliness is something I have very high standards for). It was well decorated and cozy—we particularly loved the comfortable couch and the gas fireplace. The secret kids room was a huge hit with my three-year-old who didn’t unpack a single toy or book we brought with us and it was very convenient that they had a pack and play (and a slumber pod even though we didn’t end up using it—the rooms get pretty dark and my toddler no longer needs it pitch black). The welcome gift with a personalized message, s’mores kit and hot cocoa was a really nice touch. We didn’t need a single thing while we were there so we didn’t touch base with Natalie much but we left our toddler’s pillow behind and even after check out she was very responsive and helpful. Super easy walk to the lake trail and close to the village and brewery. Great enclosed yard for pets. We loved every minute of our stay!

The host is wonderful and very responsive. The location can’t be beat! Right on the creek with floor to ceiling windows. With a short walk we were at the brewery and were near the shops, pharmacy, galleries, and great restaurants. The property has many bird feeders that are visited by colorful birds and squirrels. The home is pet-friendly with a fantastic fenced yard and large bolstered dog bed. Our dog had so much to sniff, and she rested comfortably while inside. What isn’t noted in the description is that although there are 2 bathrooms, there is only 1 shower and no tub. The bathroom without a shower or tub is carpeted and doesn’t have a heating source. Although the home is a bit dated, it is totally worth staying in. It’s bright, comfy, well located, the furnishings are cute, the fireplace is lovely, the aromatherapy humidifier is awesome, and the host is fantastic!

My wife and I were looking for a place that would provide us with peace and allow our son to experience snow for the first time (he’s 2 yrs old). Kailee and Melissa’s place did just that. Great, clean, peaceful and beautiful homes. We would stay there again.

James was very responsive when I needed him throughout the stay. He was quick to rectify the issue so no complaints there. The place was clean and everything you needed was there! Overall would recommend! Close to the village and other amenities.

Do not hesitate booking this stay for your next vacation. The absolute perfect location, most charming little beach condo, INSANE VIEW!! Close to everything you need in the sweetest town. Steven is amazing and extremely helpful

We had a great stay at this property! It's fully remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Everything was provided, including nice bath towels (mini shampoo/conditioner/lotion, too), soft comfortable linen, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The property is steps away from Marine Avenue, the main street on Balboa Island, with great shops and restaurants. That being said, you are in a more vibrant and happening part of the island, which comes with a little more noise and traffic. We enjoyed being close to everything, walking around, etc. The host is responsive and super easy to work with.

Such a great location and price for Oceanside. We are near major routes to everywhere that we wanted to go to, along with a hiking trail. We can hear traffic but it was never a nuisance. The condo is on the 2nd floor, no elevator but was not a problem for us. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/dishware but no pantry items. We were pleased with the dishwaher and W/D, and yes, there were detergent available. There was a new sofa bed, and TV with EASY to operate controls (thanks for not having multiple remotes!) There are 3 of us, 2 with low vision so we were extremely pleased with the layout (no Nic-nacs to knock over or excessive furniture to run into). Our hostess was the best, so responsive to all my questions!

What can I say - the apartment has it all. It is in a great location with restaurants, bars and great cafes all walking distance, and the beach is just the most gorgeous stroll down to the best southern California has to offer. We had the best Spring Break with our 8-year-old son taking full advantage of the bikes, boogie boards, surf boards and wetsuits - all complimentary thanks to Pete and Cathy. And the kitchen, outside grill, and terrace made for some memorable meals and moments. We WILL be coming back to stay for sure. Better than any hotel! Paul

This place was perfect! 5 minute walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to downtown (sub 3 minutes). Great spot, and we will definitely be back!

In town, walk to restaurants and stores, short drive to Snow Summit. Because of location pretty much guaranteed that roads will be cleared early. We've stayed at other places where we had to wait for the roads to be plowed.

The Nest was absolutely amazing!! Loved the colors,decor, layout, very clean, and definitely spacious for 2 people. Kerrie was very nice, and responsive when reaching out. The area was quiet/peaceful and within walking distance of the main restaurants/shopping area. Me and my husband enjoyed my birthday getaway!! Definitely recommend The Nest! Thanks!!!

The cuckoos nest was the perfect little romantic getaway for me and my partner and was exactly what we were looking for! Extremely welcoming. Loved the modern interior and customizable lights. Gotta love the cannabis friendliness of this space, something my boyfriend really appreciated. Lee was also the perfect host, and always communicated in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend the Cuckoos nest!

Had a great stay as a group, Ali was very communicative even later at night when we were having some issues with the hot tub temperature. Appreciated the help!

You enter the house, a little uncertain. From the outside, a little underwhelming. You pass through the cosy living room, still a little underwhelming. And THEN, WOW. The pool area, the tennis court, the Vista to the west, the mountains...spectacular, breathtaking, everything as advertised and more. Back in the house, you find a very well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable bedrooms, a unique "guesthouse" for the Seniors (in our case), and above all...everything in working order. Absolutely no issues! Bravo to our great landlord, who was a super communicator. Overall: our family of 12, across 3 generations, found wonderful places to be together as well as to disperse. A great time was had by all in this Vista Villa wonder!

Outstanding home. So roomy and luxurious. We stayed with three full families with multiple kids kids and everyone had space and privacy.

We had a great weekend stay at this beautiful property! The pool/spa and backyard with view was amazing. The house has a ton of amenities including bbq, full kitchen, spices, entertainment center And indoor/outdoor speakers. Owner was very communicative and sent out a pool repair person to assist with our spa heating issue, which was promptly fixed. There are house and city guidelines to be aware of, so make sure you read all house information that is provided. Overall a wonderful property!

We rented this awesome property during Easter weekend and had a great time hosting family. They were also impressed with this house. Great place to stay!

We had a fantastic girls’ trip in Temecula, and this Airbnb was the perfect place to stay. The location was excellent. It’s was just minutes away from many of the wineries. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a beautiful outdoor area that gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the weather. The host was great. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a great experience and would definitely rent this place again!

The property was beautiful and Ben was proactive with responding. The jacuzzi was really nice. The neighbor came up once to tell us trash was blowing out of the trash cans (not sure how that happened) which kind of startled us just a heads up.

The house was beautiful and well taken care of. It had everything you would need. The checkout procedures were so easy and quick unlike other places I have stayed. The management company was very easy to work with and prompt in communication. I would definitely go back to this house or another one of their properties. It would be perfect for a wine tasting group.
