The Tree Haus

The Tree Haus is 675 sq. ft., near Texas State University on five acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. River play and trail access in local area. It is 6 miles from downtown San Marcos and convenient to TSU (about 10 minutes to Bobcat Stadium). The Tree Haus is above my Studio, has two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea service as well as a homemade breakfast bread for a fast start in the AM. We do not accept children under 8, non smoking, no pets, clean environment.

We are just a 5 min walk from the Blanco River and River Road and a 3 min drive to the Wimberley Square. The house is well stocked with your kitchen essentials and bath goodies to soak the day away.

Our house is a newly renovated 1940's craftsman located in the hill country of Texas. In historic Johnson City, Texas it is just one block from restaurants, shopping, wineries, & art galleries. This luxurious modern farmhouse is located in the hometown of President, Lyndon B Johnson. I look forward to making your stay a memorable one. I only live a few miles down the road towards the Pedernales Falls State Park (also something fun to do), so I will be handy if needed for any reason.

Enjoy your stay watching deer, birds, sunsets, stars and relax. Casita on the Ranch is located on our 90 acre ranch near the main home with just a 2 minute walk to the gym. We are about 35 min to New Braunfels or SanAntonio and about 20 min to Canyon Lake and Blanco. We are close to the Guadalupe River, Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas and Fredericksburg is about 45 minutes away. Plenty of parking and a fenced back yard. 2 pets max.

It has easy access to HW281 and Loop 1604, with Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the famous San Antonio Riverwalk just a short drive away. Great for getting away from it all and resting, or using as home base while exploring San Antonio and New Braunfels. Our rustic Writer's Cabin is absolutely charming. The 16 x 20 main room has a queen size bed, Roku TV, poker table, and efficiency kitchen area that includes a small fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee-maker, and double sink. The bathroom has a large shower and a rod for your hanging clothes. You will also enjoy the rockers on the front porch, which are great for sipping coffee while visiting, watching life on the farm and awesome sunsets!
