Smart TV with sound bar and access to DSTV plus all the main steaming services, including Netflix, Brit Box, Showmax, Apple TV and YouTube. The apartment has Air Conditioning, super fast uncapped Fibre Wifi and DSTV satellite TV. A fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine. Bedroom with king size bed, ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom with bath and large walk in shower. There is a safe in the bedroom. The living area has sliding doors and a balcony from which you have a stunning view to watch the ships sail in and out of the harbour. There is one secure parking bay within the building. Full access to the large well equipped gym as well as the swimming pool and sun deck. Conferencing facilities, meeting rooms and daily office space are available upon request. The MyCiti bus stop is just outside the Icon building. It will be my pleasure to assist you in anyway I can whilst you stay in our city. I'm a full time Airbnb host so am always available to help out. This apartment is perfectly located for exploring the city. It's a gentle 15-minute stroll to the waterfront, and is at the start of the famous Long Street, which is known for its fine restaurants and bars. The tourist buses and local buses stop right outside the building making getting around a breeze. The Cape Town International Convention Center is but a stone throw away. For exploring wider a field the location is ideal given the close proximity to the main highways in and out of the city. The two main highways in and out of the city (N1 and N2) are right on your doorstep should you be exploring further afield. Fresh milk and water will be in the fridge when you arrive along with a selection of teas and coffee. You can also expect some other little treats on arrival in the form of fresh flowers, wine or champagne and chocolates or biscuits.

This spacious, bright and well appointed 2 bedroom apartment is centrally located and provides guests with the essence of Cape Town living! Generous living space opens out onto a large deck with breathtaking views of Robben Island, the famous Green Point Stadium, Green Point Park and Golf Course and the Atlantic Ocean. The apartment is close to many of the City's attractions as well as having restaurants, shops and deli's in walking distance. Your host will be available to answer any questions and give advice & recommendations should guests be new to Cape Town and would like assistance in planning their itinerary - Please feel free to ask you host. Also, in case of emergencies, your host lives in the area 2 minutes away. Green Point is a vibrant neighborhood that offers a wide variety of coffee shops, delicious cuisine, local pubs, and trendy bars. Many of Cape Town's attractions are nearby and there is an abundance of national parks and beaches to explore. Because we are centrally located, Uber Taxis are always close by and available. There is exceptionally efficient and cost effective MyCity Bus service 10 metres from the apartment (30 second walk). This is the main transport mode of Cape Town. Should we wish to rent a vehicle, there is plenty of on-street parking around the building.

Simplicity and Comfort in a Beautiful Old Building

Seek sanctuary in the beauty of this old Victorian-style building that's the ideal place to quietly unwind. The balcony doors open up for plenty of light and fresh air from the garden. The 2 single beds in one of the bedrooms can be converted to a King size bed for a second couple or kept separate. Guests will sign in with security at the gate. I'll be staying in my painting studio which is not far away and I will be available at all times to assist. Long Street and the surrounding neighbourhood has an amazing collection of restaurants, bars, and cafes. All essentials are within walking distance, including supermarkets and pharmacies. The apartment has it's own garage to park your hire car and it is within 100m of where taxis congregate waiting for fares. For short stays, a house keeper will come in before check in and at check out. For longer stays, she will come in a couple of times a week (after 11am; Mon & Thurs); there is no additional cost, the extra cleaning just helps to keep things manageable. She will be available to do your washing & ironing if you request it. Note on the parking garage: The lock-up garage was designed for normal sedan size vehicles and will, unfortunately, not accommodate large 4WD's and panel vans. For guests that are going to be using a larger vehicle, there is a shopping center up the road that has overnight parking available (R100/night)

The space is uncluttered and practical yet aesthetically very pleasing. It’s close proximity to the Cape Town CBD, Table Mountain and Atlantic Seaboard beaches makes it a good choice. The entire flat is for your use. There is a balcony with comfortable seating. I don’t live on the premises, but I am a phone call away should I be needed. I live a 10 min drive away. Woodstock is one of the oldest suburbs in Cape Town and it features an incredible mix of diversity and cultures. This has led to a fusion of food, fashion, and design across the area's amazing restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques. Most guests use Uber to get around. Some rent a car. There are also the public minibus taxis for an authentic experience. Depending on where you are going you could also walk ...the Woodstock Exchange is one example...

It is close to De Waterkant and the V&A Waterfront. Guests will have access to the whole apartment as well as a secure parking bay. Fibre wifi is fast & uncapped.
