Holiday rentals with breakfast in Carteret County

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean, just as beautiful as the pictures showed. The beds and sofas were incredibly comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved how conveniently it was located, right at the beach and close to everything we needed. Plus, the neighbors were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Libbie's home. Enjoyed our conversations regarding the area, family, and travels around the world. Libbie had some very interesting stories which I truly enjoyed. She was very cordial, and I would recommend her home for a stay to anyone visiting the area.

Patricia is a wonderful, traditional B&B hostess eager to share local history and insider tips, or just to warmly reach out as you come and go if that’s what you prefer. The stay provided exactly what I look for- a room with a view, peaceful location and a short ride to local points of interest. The made to order breakfast was the icing on the cake. Great location, just a minute drive via the golf cart to the beach. Leave your beach chairs and boogie boards at home as this home already provides them.

Donna and John have a lovely home that is very comfortable and welcoming! The location is absolutely perfect set amongst the surrounding historic Beaufort neighborhood and a very short walking distance to the downtown waterfront. We stayed in the Queen Ann room which is a bright tastefully appointed relaxing space, with the bonus of an ensuite jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Breakfast was first class! Donna is a wonderful cook and she graciously accommodated our vegetarian preference. Both Donna and John are warm people who make you feel right at home! We definitely plan to return :)

Don’t hesitate to stay here! Such a picturesque bed and breakfast. The owner John was beyond friendly and accommodating. He was happy to make it feel just like home. The rooms were charming, comfortable, spotless, and guaranteed good nights rest. I stayed in the Wooten room and it was perfect for one traveler. Not only was the atmosphere and service wonderful, the food was INCREDIBLE. John is a hell of a cook and makes the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted with his secret ingredient! I also have a gluten allergy and he went above and beyond to provide! Freshly baked waffles with strawberries and syrup one morning, and a DECADENT cinnamon coffee cake….even packed me a piece to hit the road with! Coffee was also perfectly brewed which is a must for this caffeine addict. Book! Book! Book! Cannot wait for my return trip to new bern! Thank you John!

Upon arrival she greeted us at the door. Gave us a tour and explained where everything was and how it worked. The area is absolutely beautiful with lots to do and a couple of blocks from Tryon Palace. Lots of local restaurants and shops. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The room was very nice and we had a great nites sleep. Breakfast was absolutely delish! My husband and I have food restrictions and I let her know in advance and she was very accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay. You will be pleased. (PS-the coffee was amazing)

New Bern is a great little town to explore. Wished we had more time to do more. The B&B was so nice. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay there again when we visit.

We enjoyed our stay at this impeccable Bed & Breakfast. Breakfasts were wonderful, with the owners ensuring everyone got enough! Seconds were available. The staff were responsive, friendly, and truly enjoyed their work. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable with very soft sheets. We are planning to return when in the area.

Our family really enjoyed our time at Meadows Inn. Our stay was truly every thing I could have ask for. Not only is it perfectly located, providing amazing access to downtown New Bern, but our outstanding host really made our trip. Her kindness and hospitality was on full display. Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. We look forward to returning to New Bern soon and staying here again in the future.

I would say he undercharged us for the accomodations! We decided to make this trip fairly last minute, and arrived way later than hoped for (after 2AM). He sent us specific instructions via the app on how to get in, and they were very easy to follow. There was another family/couple (not certain which) staying in the second bedroom, which was far enough away it was essentially it's own area. The shared common area is huge, with two tv's, a well-stocked kitchen, and so many things to look at on the walls! The other family was quiet, and hopefully we were just as quiet and respectful towards them. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for years! Wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to get back up north. Only 10 minutes from the beach - we spent most of our time at the beach, but ate breakfast at a location within easy walking distance, and it looks like there were a number of choices. And I'm sure Richard would have given us a suggestion if we asked. 10/10
