Holiday rentals with a patio in Castelbuono

A wonderfully tranquil place to escape to at the end of October. The accommodation was perfect and it was a great location to explore Sicily.

Very nice, new and clean apartment. Fully equipped and good air conditioning. Guiseppe was very nice and helpful. The pool is fantastic and the view grandiose! Relaxed. For our baby of 1, a nice bed and a high chair were arranged, which was great!

The host was immediately very kind to meet all my needs as far as check-in was concerned. Super kind person who recommended restaurants and activities nearby; all vermanete of excellent quality, too bad to have been able to/and try only a small percentage. Absolutely repeatable experience to experience all the rest of the tips. Truly excellent house and location. Perfect interiors, nothing is missing and everything is "vacation-friendly". The apartment is located just above Castelbuono in a cool and shaded area because it is surrounded by a garden and forest; an evocative environment to say the least. In addition, the panormama on the valley, with the sea peeking on the horizon is very nice and relaxing. Top !

Amazing place to relax, specially after busy cities. Very beautiful location right on the beach. Everything you need for a few nights visit. Very clean! Basilio was very helpful host and gave a lot of recommendations. Would definitely recommend staying here. We decided to skip staying a night in Palermo city and stayed here for two nights instead, was a great choice. Thank you!

Great place, very clean, furnished very well. the location is great. Castelbuono is super cute, one of my favourite stay during my 10day trip in Sicily. The host is very friendly. Would book again!

We loved staying at Isabella’s place. We could see the sea from the large balcony and, although the inside area is small, it has all you need. We were made very welcome and shown round the area by Marco who also collected us from the station. We were given great recommendations about restaurants, the local festival and places to visit. We enjoyed the local bottle of wine left for us. Questions were always answered straight away. Portocello and the attached villages are unspoilt. This isn’t a big tourist centre. There is easy access to Palermo and Cefalu by train. Thank you for a great few days.

We were very warmly welcomed by Enrico. Upon arrival, he immediately told us a lot about Sicily, Bagheria and the immediate vicinity. Gave us a lot of tips about local specialties and good restaurants nearby, but also about activities such as beautiful walks. He also sent us all the tips after this. During our stay the wifi did not work at first, after we communicated about this, Enrico arranged it for us after a few days. Grazie mille. The view over the boulevard of Aspra makes this apartment a really top location. The village itself is pleasantly cozy in low season, especially on weekends filled with Italians from the neighborhood which makes it very atmospheric. The apartment itself has all the comforts, a nice bed and a well equipped kitchen. But we spent more time on the balcony than in the apartment itself ;) We hope to come back here again for sure. The communication with the host was great, there was always an immediate response. The way to the villa is very narrow, the escort from the host helped us a lot the first time! We would recommend a car as there are at least 3-4 (steep) kilometers to the city or shopping. Once you have arrived, you can expect a lot of peace here. The sound of the sea can be heard except for the terrace, beautiful sunsets over San Stefano di Camasta are only a few steps to enjoy over the (absolutely quiet) road on the stone beach. The villa is located on a railway line. Some trains could be heard here during the day, less often even at night a freight train. The place has absolutely everything that is needed. Cooking, one (or 2-3) espresso from the capsule machine every day, and romantic evenings in candlelight. The host even provided us with water and espresso to start, great service! Thanks for the quiet place for our honeymoon!

I was very satisfied with the stay at lusu vacation home. Elena and Massimo are very friendly, the structure is equipped with every comfort, from juicer to the microwave. Every room in the house is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the sheets are scented and the structure exactly matches the photos on airbnb. The location is excellent as it is between Palermo and Cefalu, upon my arrival I found typical local sweets and coffee pods. I highly recommend the property.

This is a lovely place with a beautiful garden and wonderful views. The host is very kind and communicative. There was a lot of fruits cookies and wine for us at arrival. We spent a lovely week here. Highly recommended. Thanks Federica! Silvia

This room is very near the city center, and it’s also not so far to Cefalù and Palermo. The room is quite big for 2 person, we have enjoyed a comfortable and quiet night in this room. Everything inside is very clean. Daniela and her daughter are very friendly and always reply us quickly. They also recommend some excellent place to eat and drink. We have tried the pizza and Café, both are top level with a nice price.

Great stay close to nature, parks and with easy access to main roads to reach Cefalú and other small towns. Very convenient supermarket nearby. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, provided fresh towels and a fully equipped kitchen. We explored small towns like Mistretta, Caronia and Parco dei Nebrodi. Highly recommend and great value for money.

Silvia and her husband are really friendly people. They share tips about hiking in the Madonie Nature Park and tips for restaurants in beautiful Castelbuono. From the house there’s a beautiful view on the mountains and mountain top villages.

Francesco's house/flat was well presented, freshly renovated and clean. Although we stayed a couple of nights as a final stop before bidding arrivederci to the island, you could easily stay longer as the property has everything you need. There is a spacious terrace at the front of the house and a cute garden with a free standing grill and bonus citrus trees in case you want freshly squeezed lemon on your barbecue. Location wise - the property is on the main road, with easy access to the link roads and 1.25 hrs drive from Palermo airport. Cefalu beach is 20 min walk, clean and not too busy (could be because we visited off peak season). The old town and duomo 30 min away boasting of great restaurants and typical quaint alleyways. Francesco was a considerate helpful host with great communication before and throughout our stay. P.S. for British fam - there is no kettle, so you'll have to boil the water on the stove :D

We had a great week. Cozy apartment with wonderful terrace facing the sea and nice communal pool. Had very good contact with the host Nicola gave a lot of tips and is responsive. Apartment is secluded. There are no cars, just some livestock that makes the place harmonious. Cefalu is at a 30 min walk distance or 10 min by car. We parked in the large parking lot by the sea. Affordable and always location once we were there. Morning swim and then a good cup of coffee is recommended when Cefalu is waking up. Highly recommended!

Very nice place to stay, incredible hospitality, within walking distance of a beautiful beach (not crowded). Perfect place to discover Palermo and its surroundings.

Maria is a very friendly and flexible host who responded quickly to messages. The apartment was as described in the pictures, clean and equipped according to the description. Surroundings are unfortunately a bit remote and there is a lot of garbage around, which of course Maria can't do. A very nice Airbnb!

Very nice place right on the sea. Antonio was always responsive. We loved the terrace with sea sounds. Unfortunately, it is really sometimes very noisy from the upper apartment, especially when children live there, screaming and running through the apartment. Unfortunately, the wifi was often bad with us in the evening, Antonio says it is an exception. It has bikes in the accommodation, they are very rickety but to get fresh rolls it was quite okay. We also discovered the espresso bar on the last day by bike 5 minutes from the accommodation. We highly recommend the restaurant Can Caus and in porticello inn grill. Overall, everything was very nice, thank you Antonio

Lydia’s condo was the perfect location for our family vacation! The view is truly spectacular and we had such a nice time snorkeling and paddle boarding off the beach in the backyard. The condo itself was newly updated and easy to get to from Palermo airport. We rented a car and used it to get around. Not walkable but the area is quiet and very peaceful. Easy to get to Cefalù, Palermo and Bagheria. Lydia was an extremely responsive host. We checked in on an Italian holiday and she helped coordinate a chef upon our arrival and did some grocery shopping. She made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Her local recommendations were great and helped guide our itinerary. We had everything we needed for our young, active family. Highly recommend!!
