Boplaas Guest Cottage is in the quiet, pretty & friendly suburb of Bothas Hill. It is a sunny home & has a calm & peaceful feel. It is a small but active cut flower home industry so you get to enjoy our stunning proteas when in bloom. We are in walking distance of Kearsney College, a laundry, a pub, a hairdresser a chemist & restaurants. There are various restaurants & cafes & places of interest in the area which are all listed in our 'book of places to visit'. We look forward to meeting you.

MacLeod House Guest Cottage-Nature lovers' getaway

MacLeod House Guest Cottage is a self-contained stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The open plan accommodation is decorated in an Edwardian style but with all the modern conveniences you might require. The cottage overlooks the magnificent Krantzkloof gorge. There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. A 'must see' for nature lovers.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Upstairs on Impangele

Next to Makaranga (currently closed), the unit has 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The kitchen area has a table & chairs, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, induction cooker, air fryer & microwave. Stocked with tea, coffee & sugar. Each of the rooms have a king size bed which can be split into 2 singles, so can sleep 4 people. One of the bedrooms has an aircon & the other a fan and heater. Deck has a bistro table & chairs as well as a daybed for relaxing. Off street parking for 1 car.

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Centrally located in Hillcrest and close to the N3 freeway. •Quiet hours from 10pm onwards. •No visitors allowed. •Strictly no smoking in apartment or open flames. •Room serviced at end of stay only, unless on special request at an additional minimul fee. Tennis Cottage - Surrounded by a verdant garden.

Based in central Hillcrest, the Tennis Court Cottage is a recently renovated, self catering garden cottage located on a well secured property within a lush, green garden. The space is a private and peaceful, equipped with all the amenities required by the business or leisure traveler. Self check in and out is quick and easy via a keypad at the main gate, a key box is located at the entrance to the unit. Due to its size the unit is ideally suited for short term stays.

This modern, creative space is one of two hidden gems in the leafy suburb of Westville (also see “the Green Room” in the Hidden Lookout). Up high in the trees, our space is a tranquil, beautiful, simple space perfect for a break from the city, but close enough to everything to still have fun! If you are coming for business we have fast and dependable WiFi. We also have a GENERATOR for load shedding if necessary.
