Tiny house holiday rentals in Central America

Such a great spot to stay! Beds were comfortable, shower was great, and open air home was such a dream! Got to see monkeys from our porch, ground crabs along the walkway, and could hear the ocean as a constant background. Such a dream!

This was definitely a memorable experience, the host was polite, hospitable and always eager to assist in any way possible. I would recommend this cottage to anyone interested in top tier living comfort for their visit. The cottage was so peaceful. Best relaxing place to get away from the outside world. Such a gem in Tamarindo! We loved being surrounded by nature and having the pool. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was stocked well. It can be a little hard to walk into the main town because the house is located uphill but it’s definitely doable. Jose provided us with recommendations and was very responsive. Overall I would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our relaxing stay at this slice of Costa Rican paradise. The jungle sounds, manicured gardens, jungle trails and the view of the ocean below were spectacular. Probably our favourite part was the daily visits by a family of howler monkeys. We already plan to return.

Tuto is absolutely gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. The staff are very hospitable, friendly, sweet, and kind. It is away from the crowded tourist streets but close enough to hang out in town when you want to

Amazing! Such a unique experience with lovely hosts. A beautiful location to spend time relaxing, snorkeling or fishing on the property or real close by. You can always get picked up form their dock for other excursions too if you wish (they helped us arrange a fly fishing trip and we snorkeled the barrier reef). The food that was included with the airbnb was delicious - most of it caught by the hosts or nearby fisherman. We actually ate Conch and a barracuda we watched them catch when they took us to a secret snorkeling spot. Nights are quiet and bug free. Reminder that there is no cell phone service in the Airbnb which, trust me, can be a good thing for relaxing. Finally, I can't say enough about the hosts - such a lovely family that we enjoyed sharing stories, laughing and playing cards with. I hope to be back real soon!

Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Es war einfach unglaublich! Die Location ist traumhaft, das Essen ein Gedicht und die unglaublich freundliche und offene Art von Allen läßt einen nie als Fremden fühlen. Wir haben wahnsinnig tolle Erlebnisse gehabt (Dschungeltour, gemeinsames Essen mit anderen Gästen, unglaublich viele Tiere wie Delfine, Affen, Faultiere, Rochen etc gesehen) und doch hatten wir auch nur Momente für uns mit der Natur. Es war einfach unglaublich schön! Vielen Dank!!!

Muy bonito lugar, agradable y para compartir en familia, las instalaciones son muy cómodas y precisas como las muestran en las fotos. Me pareció que se encuentra muy bien ubicado y accesible para la playa y los restaurantes. Todos fueron muy amables y con mi familia nos encantó.

Sebas es el mejor host que he tenido hasta ahora. No solo es amable y servicial para atender cualquier consulta, sino que es de esas personas que va más allá de lo que le pedis o necesitas, con mucha calidad humana y servicio. Con respecto a las instalaciones, son tal como se describen y muestran en las fotos, con vistas increíbles y la posibilidad de conectar con la naturaleza. Las cataratas le dan un plus. Definitivamente es un lugar al que quiero volver!

Our host was there to greet us right away even though we were early. Super friendly. Their pet dog was adorable. Clean and comfortable barrel. Beautiful green space and garden. Very close to beach. Would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean every day. The space was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The private pool was awesome—clean, refreshing, and a perfect way to unwind after a day at the beach. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips and making check-in super smooth. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beachside getaway!

Espectacular vista, zona tranquila, el lugar cumplía con lo indicado en la descripción

We stayed at Casa Rustica for 8 nights. The bungalow was the perfect size for my husband and me. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were luxurious. Sharr has done a great job decorating both inside and out. The vegetation around the property provides optimal privacy and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. We didn’t hear or see our neighbours in Casa Rustica number 1 - it’s that private. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away (you can hear the sound of the waves from the back porch). We walked the beach into town and back a few times for lunch (about 25 minutes each way). We also rented beach bikes from Sharr which were handy for getting around, as we didn’t have a car. The location and the accommodation were perfect. We were fortunate enough to meet Sharr. She is an incredible host who wants to ensure her guests are comfortable. The only caveat we have is that this is a growing community and so there may be some construction happening on new homes nearby.

Muy hermoso lugar, acogedor y con una vista estupenda, el jacuzzi es lo mejor, solo las almohadas estaban sucias, por todo lo demás muy bueno y completo.

We had a great time at Lu’s place. A true switch off from the world. The private pool and indoor/outdoor vibe was amazing. We also got greeted by the cat everyday which made it feel very homely. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. You do need to walk up a short hill (if on foot) to reach it but it’s really worth it! Thanks for having us

What a special place! We felt so lucky to have a spot in the jungle with sounds of the nearby stream, beautiful birds perching in the backyard and a place to relax after a long day of exploring. Jocsan has smartly built two tiny houses next to each other in his backyard. They are positioned in a way that all feels private and the vegetation surrounds you everywhere. In between his house and the tiny houses is a gorgeous back garden. It was a pleasure meeting him and his family and although we weren’t able to take him up on it, he offered to feed us one night! His spot is nestled in an area of town right outside La Fortuna which was lovely to get away from the busy town at the end of the day. But also just a few mins into town for meals and conveniently located to many tourist attractions. Great spot, highly recommend! Thanks so much Jocsan & family for hosting us!

José is the man great stay. He made us feel right at home. Super nice. The property is next level. The view is probably the best view that you will get of the capital at your time i Costa Rica. I highly recommend this stay!!

Everything was picture perfect. It is a wonderful place to lay back and relax. Everything that you need is in walking distance. We walked a lot. Rented a golf cart from them for two days, but enjoyed walking more. Everything is local and there are great restaurants to eat at each day. Each day can be in a different place if you like. Went on a Mayan tour and was picked up at the bnb. It was a perfect vacation, can't say enough good things about the place. Not cheap, but well worth the cost!
