Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Central Illinois

This darling house is super cozy, clean and well appointed. You get all of the character of an historic house with all of the much appreciated modern day amenities plus a giant fenced in back yard. We walked to Maplewood for coffee, food and shopping nearly every day before an easy 10-20 min drive to anything within St. Louis we had scheduled for the day. Fantastic place to stay and Brian was very responsive and just a quick text away had we needed anything. We would definitely stay again when in St. Louis!

Any time I am in town for an event at Purina Farms, this is my first choice. Perfect for relaxing after a long day, close to The Hawthorne Inn if we want a nice meal, very responsive hosts, comfortable beds.

We stayed for the Greater STL marathon weekend. Perfect location and the beds had us sleeping like rocks. Also perfect for bringing our pup!

I was able to check in the house on short notice. All my questions are answered very quickly. The house was a clean little cozy cottage. If I’m back in the area that’s where I’m going to stay!

We had a great time at Lisa’s place. All the spaces for our family of 5 with ease. She left very clear instructions throughout the house and is super responsive if you have any questions or need help!

The ranch was perfect for my family and I! The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and very cute. Jackie left us some sweets for when we got there (super yum!!) and was very responsive and helpful! 100% recommend!

We enjoyed the hot tub and the view, especially for the sunrises. The decor was amazing and the house had everything we needed!

We enjoyed our stay at Amy’s Pool House! It was perfect for our trip visiting family during thanksgiving. Close to everything we needed and easy to find and access. The house was well stocked, esp plenty of towels! It was perfect for our dog too. He loved their yard and it was perfectly quiet for him. There is plenty of space and its comfy. We really enjoyed using the tv, and the hot tub! You could see the stars at night. :) We found the pool house a bit chilly at times and the bed was not our preference but overall we really enjoyed our stay! Amy was also very responsive and kind! We would come back here to stay again! :)

Our stay ended up being much longer than anticipated and Chloe was so accommodating with our crazy schedule. Along with going above in beyond in multiple rounds of questionable weather. If we ever end up back in Hannibal, Stonehill will be our first stop.

Relaxing and beautiful setting. Spent most mornings and evenings enjoying the elevated outside porch listening to nature and watching the sun set. The home was clean, had everything needed and was beautifully decorated. Would not have even known that the host was in the same location. Would highly recommend this location!

What a postcard! Picturesque location where the sounds of nature take over and the bustle of the word recedes. WONDERFULLY comfortable king bed in the master was so appreciated. Everything for which we’d hoped, plus gracious, helpful and attentive hosts made our quick stay a memorable one. (We’re now considering relocating- Innsbrook is magical!)

This was our third spring vacation to this cozy lake house. We love the peaceful setting and well-appointed house—perfect for our family to relax and reconnect with s’mores and books and games and great meals. This year my son caught his first fish (a small bass and a bluegill) and a large bald eagle made a visit one morning. Jenna is a perfect host—always friendly and quick to deal with any questions or concerns.

We had a great stay. The house was spacious and had plenty of activities to do. The hot tub was awesome and stayed HOT! The pool table was really nice and we loved playing some games while it rained for a day we stayed. Didn't have any issues with any neighbors. The host was responsive to any and all questions and easy to work with. The house is a bit squeaky when walking around but nobody from our group said that could hear each other walking around or anything. Air conditioner was awesome the house stayed cool and comfortable the whole weekend. Great proximity to the city but still quiet and a good neighborhood. Would recommend for groups of friends or family's.

This place was great. We needed a place with a backyard and that allowed pets and we could have asked for a better fit. Our dogs loved it and Rebecca was very accommodating with our schedule. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of stores we needed to go to during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

We keep returning to Poppy's Place for a reason. We always enjoy our stay. The home is spacious and comfortable.

This is me and my pup's second time staying at Theresa's dog friendly place. Everything was great as it was last time. The place is clean, quite, and well stocked with all conveniences. Theresa is super easy to communicate. We loved it!

We enjoyed the tiny home. It felt secure and peaceful. We enjoyed yo stair concept to the bedroom. It felt like we were in a treehouse almost. The skylights and windows are perfectly placed to lend a feeling of privacy and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the bed was amazing!

My partner and I had such a lovely stay! The home was beautiful and gave off such a calming atmosphere. Check in was very simple and we felt right as home as soon as we entered! Kelly and George were also very communicative, friendly, and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!!

Our hosts were phenomenal! Almost immediate on responses. They lived right above us, so they truly were there to help any time. Very friendly, a joy to talk with, and yet super respectful of our privacy. That was the best-stocked kitchen I've ever rented! I was serving big meals to 7 people every day, baking cakes, a big roast, ambitious menus. I couldn't believe all the cookware and dishes they had, wow! We will come back again and again!

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was so very very clean, well appointed including an iron and ironing board which wasnt mentioned in the listing. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and more than enough bath towels and wash cloths. Shower gels and shampoos provided. Well appointed kitchen and freezer full of ice. The bed was so comfortable I overslept every morning. Super easy check in and out. I’m going to mention again the cleanliness of the place - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 20. I highly recommend this place.

This place was beautiful! Felt like a home away from home. Absolutely loved the rug floor!! The decor was stunning and the hosts were amazing
