Cottage holiday rentals in Cerisy-la-Forêt

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

The stay at Magali's was perfect. On vacation with our 3 children under 10 years old, we were looking for proximity to the sea, but also a beautiful house so that we could also stay quiet on some days. There were plenty of games and a Jacuzzi that made the whole family happy! We could reach incredible beaches in 5 minutes and do very nice bike tours! We recommend this house! (just be aware: there are no shutters in the bedrooms, only non-blackout curtains)

Very good stay at Michel and Martine's. The house is very nice, clean and a very nice garden . Several historical sites are close to the property. They made us some very useful recommendations for our visits. We highly recommend. Thank you very much for this lovely stay Normand ☀️

We had a great weekend at Virginia's place, the kids enjoyed nature, we were able to fish and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, Thanks, we'll be back with pleasure.

Our stay at Mark's was wonderful. The area is very calm and beautiful, Mark was always there to help us out when needed and the place was gorgeous ! There are also lots of things to do around and visit, it's perfect !

A little Norman paradise, made for young and old. Pleasant, clean and well thought out, for a great stay. Jeannette and Brian are charming and discreet hosts but always available and smiling. Our baby feasted at this place with the animals,and the hot tub is ideal for disconnecting for adults. We are in the heart of nature but in 40 min we can visit and see the sea. Our whole little family would recommend this beautiful place!

David’s place was a lovely quaint stone cottage ! Many things original to the 1787 home. It was located close to the landing beaches and war memorials which was the purpose for our trip. The only thing that was a disappointment was the fireplace was not working and so we found the home very cold .

How we enjoyed this stay. Nice spacious rooms and stunning views of the estate. The host and colleagues of the estate are all very kind and helpful. A tour and of course tasting the Calvados, Pommeau, apple cider and apple juice is definitely recommended. The area is really beautiful and historic. Normandy surprised us positively.

Thanks for the stay, thanks for your availability. Super nice accommodation, ideal for relaxing in a quiet place and hiking. Mont St Michel is 1 hour 20 minutes by car. Small touches on arrival were very much appreciated.

We had a great time at Pascal's country house. The setting is soothing and ideal for rest in the middle of nature. The house is tastefully renovated and perfectly equipped. We particularly appreciated the central location that allows you to discover all the tourist and historical sites of the Channel. Pascal was kind enough to prepare the fireplace for our arrival. We thank the host for hosting us and will return as soon as possible for a future stay.

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

Lovely old style home. Good starting point for tours in Normandy such as St Marlo, Mont St Michel or the beaches of Normandy. We were there during New Year's Eve and there were no fireworks or fireworks. Our dogs really enjoyed it.

Fabienne's apartment was absolutely perfect – clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Fabienne is an extremely warm and courteous host who was always available for questions or concerns. The location of the accommodation was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and we felt completely comfortable. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this apartment!

This was our second visit to the gîte, and we loved our time there, so much so, that we very much hope to return again soon. The gîte is comfortable and very relaxing with a superb location in beautiful countryside, amazing views and just a short walk to great beaches. An idilic, relaxing location to enjoy peace and quiet, whilst being a short drive to other tourist attractions. Vivienne is a very kind and welcoming host, we really appreciate her hospitality.

We spent a week in Zoe's and Fabien's lovely cottage during autumn time. Located in the country side we had very relaxing days, enjoying the the calm nights and the view over the orchards - particularly during sunset. Having two rainy days did not matter at all, by contrast, it only increased the quality of our stay as the cottage with its fire place played out its cozy athmosphere even more. Paired with a well equiped kitchen and excursions to Fougères, Grandville, Mt. St. Michel and other sites in Normandy and Brittany, we had the holiday we were looking for. Thank you, Zoe and Fabien!

Philippe's cottage is of high quality, the environment is very quiet and the cottage is well located. The amenities are quality, everything was as advertised Philippe and his wife are very welcoming and available. We highly recommend!

Special mention for this atypical, unique place. A cottage like the hosts: warm and inviting. We quickly felt good there. A small setting in the Normandy countryside 20 minutes from the main sights (landing beaches, memorials...). We would highly recommend it.

Very pleasant stay of 3 days at Susan's . The estate is beautiful, well maintained. We fed the animals to the delight of our grandson. The house is very nice and functional . Great kitchen with everything you need . Beautiful living room. Two beautiful bedrooms equipped with excellent bedding . 15 min from Vire . The scenery is stunning especially in spring with all the trees in bloom and rapeseed fields worthy of a Van Goth painting! I would highly recommend it

House located in a quiet environment. Very well kept exterior. The house is well equipped , very clean and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed the board games for our kids and the swing in the garden. Very good welcome from our host. We'll definitely be back.

We felt very comfortable with Véronique and Rémy and can only recommend this quiet and cozy apartment. They are very nice and helpful as hosts, the apartment was exceptionally clean and is sensibly equipped. We knew beforehand that it is a bit off the beaten track, but if you want to make excursions to Caen, the coast and the picturesque Suisse Normande, it is wonderfully located. The property is like a small park, beautiful, quiet and extremely well maintained. We would book with Véronique and Rémy again anytime.
