Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

This apartment is peaceful and central. It is located in the center of Chalabre, bastide with unspoiled architectural and natural heritage, a few minutes walk from the Halle au Blé (18th century market hall), ten minutes walk from the castle and a little ten minutes drive from Lake Montbel. The house is an old hotel, now a family home that I restore with my father, tuner, who has a piano restoration workshop on the ground floor.
