The home has been restored to the era of when Roger Ebert lived there — according to details in chapter 1 of his autobiography, “Life Itself.” We're a 12-minute drive to downtown Champaign + a 5 minute drive to the U of I campus. We're happy to host families, too! Find a Mid Century Modern style complete with books written by Ebert; his school yearbooks from Urbana High; + more Illini and Urbana-centric nostalgia.

Escape at this peaceful and centrally-located space. Very modern, new construction, all new furnishings and equipment. Shared building with landlord (has studio on site) sound proofed for privacy. Keycode access, security camera at entry, utilities included. Quite street, great space if you are outdoorsy. 10 minute walking access to restaurants and coffee shops. Trails and kayak drop-in near by. Botanical gardens and forest preserve trails to get in touch with nature.

Entire home close to UIUC

Our charming home is located in a quiet col de sac in a safe neighborhood just a short drive away from U of I. Within a mile, you find Starbucks, Original pancake house, Walgreen, a gas station, lots of restaurants, grocery store and I 72 access. A bus stop on Springfield is in 5 min walking distance. This home is a perfect place to stay with three comfortable beds, a full kitchen, a stylish living room, a pool table in the basement and easy parking on the driveway.
