Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Charente

This is our second time booking Andrew and Carol's cottage for a long weekend with friends and we leave again delighted! The house and exteriors are very well maintained, the pool is very nice and Andrew, Carol and the dog Bobby are very welcoming and very kind. We had a great time, we highly recommend it!

We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!

perfect family stay (2 adults + 2 children) with a beautiful natural environment, combined with the many assets of the cottage, all this helped make our vacation splendid. In addition, the nice weather was at the rendezvous, which allowed us to enjoy the large terrace, pool, sunbeds. The accommodation is spacious , very well equipped, the summer kitchen is very valuable for the organization of meals. Hosts perfectly marry, through their kindness, hospitality and availability, the beautiful environment of the cottage. A few visits near Lascaux, Château de Hautefort, still plan a little road , the roads are pleasant but winding.

We were visiting for a motorbike race, very welcoming person, really peaceful place and very beautiful estate. I recommend this property, it's very rare to find an airbnb with quality amenities!

We spent a weekend with friends at this lovely little house. Anne-Marie is pro-active and does everything to make your sehour go smoothly. Very pleasant bedding, quiet environment. The kitchen is very well equipped, all you have to do is shop and settle in. Don't hesitate, we'll come back sometime. See you soon Anne-Marie!

Everything about it is excellent A beautiful home, spacious to welcome the family for a weekend. Nothing is missing, that is very well thought out. And what to say from the outside! A magnificent, soothing view...Fields, horses... We enjoyed the very large garden, pool, Nordic bath, ping pong, pétanque, sunbathing... This is a spectacular place to stay …. We used it as a stop off from Calais to the south of France. Great access from the Motorway, wished we could have stayed longer! …. Great place for a party or wedding! An absolutely fabulous place! Thank you Sandra so much!

We really enjoyed this one-night stop at Stéphanie's. The place is peaceful, spacious and charming. LOÏS and I will be happy to go back. Stéphanie and her husband are indeed very responsive and friendly hosts.
