Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Charleston

Neal's place was a perfect home base for a long weekend of skiing at craftsbury. The house was cozy and worked perfectly for us! If you have more than 2 people, the additional beds / futons are in the main living room, so be aware of that, but it's ideal for 2 people. Maple syrup and honey were truly top notch!

We were so happy with our stay here! Couldn't have been better. The location is perfect and the house has great views and is very cozy.

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

This was the 2nd time staying at David's place and we had an amazing time. The house feels huge even with 7 people. The place is very clean for being pet friendly. The backyard is perfect for our dog and great to have a fire. There is a guest book with suggestions and you can tell David and his co host really listen and implement all the feedback. We always hate leaving even our dog stood by the front door protesting to go home she loved it so much. I would highly recommend.

We had a great time. The house was 3 minutes from the baby shower we were in town for. It’s a beautiful, comfortable home on a quiet road. Elizabeth checked in with us, the morning after we arrived, to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

I stayed here with 6 of my friends for a ski weekend in Stowe. This is our 4th time returning to BJ & Gene’s because we love it so much! There’s plenty of space for everyone to sleep and be comfortable and it’s such a convenient distance from Stowe. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling with a larger group/family, & it’s a great deal!

My group and I enjoyed staying a few nights at Karen’s place. Great location in terms of being close to the town center and Stowe Ski Resort. For such close proximity to attractions, my group thought Karen’s place was a great value compared to some of the other listings in the area. It also felt private and had a very nice view. We enjoyed warming up by the gas fireplace after a long day of skiing.

Nick's place was perfect for heading to Jay peak for some skiing. His condo exceeded my expectations by far. Check in was super easy and Nick was very responsive.

Bottom Line –– We will be back again next year. This was a ski in and out location. Out the door and a few steps later your putting on the skis. Yet due to the trees and layout you never felt like folks were looking in. The place was very clean and had as many pots, pans and plates ect, as 4 adults and a 4yo needed. I've stayed at places in the past that had a shortage of these everyday items, but not here. She even had some basic spices. Their were extra towles and blankets. And, it is well furnished. This place felt like home, it was easy to live in.

This place is among the best for ski-in, ski-out at Jay Peak! We were here for a week, and it went too fast. When not skiing or exploring outside, it was fun just sitting on the couch and watching the skiers & boarders ride on by on the run just outside the back door. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Chris' place here!

We loved our 3 night stay at this cozy condo on Burke Mountain! We enjoyed the easy access to the slopes, the wood burning stove, and a few awesome area restaurants recommended by Meredith! We hope to be visit again soon!

Pete was a great host and his communication was great. We really appreciated his flexibility in our departure time. The condo fit our needs perfectly and was a just what we hoped it would be. We look forward to returning to Jay Peak annually and would definitely stay with Pete again.

A beautiful little hidden treasure, for those who love nature, recharge, take the time to take the time, breathe fresh air and cuddle in a beautiful blanket by a fire.

This is a wonderful little apartment! We have had family stay here twice, since we are right down the street, and it's perfect. Clean, warm and toasty in the winter, everything in its place and a place for everything. Would absolutely have family stay here every time!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful old farmhouse renovated but kept traditional. We made ourselves a cheese fondue in the very well equipped central kitchen , sat on the comfy couch looking out at the orchard thinking about all of the years of family and farm workers that must have gone through this place. When we were ready for bed, the view from our bedroom looked out over the cut corn fields where the whitetail deer were feeding . A very magical stay in a lovely corner of the world!

What a beautiful spot. We had a perfect trip. There was a small issue with the internet before we got there. Marie Josee communicated everything to us and made sure it was all taken care of. She went out of her way to get the internet fixed on a Saturday. The house is so quiet and private at the end of the road. Felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Our whole group was very impressed. Nice finishes, well appointed rooms, fully stocked kitchen. Can't say enough good things about it.

Comfortable and quiet place near Compton! Beautiful house that has retained all its charm and very close to bike lanes! Spacious room, very clean and comfortable bed! I would stay here again without hesitation! We recommend this place.

We came to 9 over the weekend. Great experience in this beautiful mansion. The decor, the furniture, the atmosphere were amazing. The activities (foosball ping pong tennis piano jacuzzi) were functional. The instructions were clear. Vincent was very responsive to the messages and even left us an extra hour on our last day, which was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend it!!!

Anuska’s place was great for a ski weekend at Stowe! It was ~40 minute drive to the mountain and a reasonable price. Beware, it is off of a dirt road which got a bit muddy. I would recommend a 4WD vehicle in those rainy & warm months. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location for walking around Sutton. Great local restaurants, wine bar, and cheese shops. We were 7 women for a weekend and the space worked out fine. Really nice kitchen. The hot tub was big enough for all of us and was sparkling clean. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were really friendly and helpful, and they responded within an hour or two when we needed to be in touch.
