Castle Farms is 6-minute drive, nearby is Petoskey, 3 ski resorts, sledding and ice-skating rinks. This home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, highchair and large fully fenced in backyard. Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Cabin #1 on a century old family farm

The cabin is located on a private wooded hill top with great sunrise and sunset views. You can drive up and park next to the cabin. The cabin is very basic one room structure with a queen size bed, tables and chairs. Bathrooms, shower, furnished wifi loft, coffee, electrical outlets, and kitchen space, are located a short walk away inside the Events Barn shared space. No electricity at the cabin itself but it does have battery operated lights. No air conditioning.

Once you enter your modern lodging, you will be greeted by a taste of home; if you are exhausted from your day, the beautiful master bedroom is on your left, while the drinks are waiting for you in the kitchen!
