The Heart of Marguerite in Menat

"Le Coeur de Marguerite" has been converted into a cottage in the heart of the Combrailles in an old barn. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant living space with access to the kitchen area and the bathroom, upstairs, a sleeping area with beds in alcoves. This accommodation is close to the Sioule (at the bottom of the property), the Queuille meander, Châteauneuf-les-Bains and its thermal baths, Vulcania in the Chaine des Puys and many other possibilities for visits and activities.

Deze sfeervolle, ruime accommodatie (65m2) is perfect voor een fijne overnachting. De gîte is voorzien van alle benodigde voorzieningen. Buiten kunt u genieten op het zonneterras, met uitzicht over het weiland waar de paarden grazen. De gîte ligt landelijk gelegen, maar op korte afstand van restaurant, supermarkt en de snelweg, A71 (10 minuten). Als u wilt kunt u gebruik maken van onze goed gevulde ontbijtmand. Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.

Typical Auvergne bread oven with breakfast

You will be staying at the "Clos des Murets", a former independent bread oven completely renovated in 2020, part of a 2500 m2 property. It includes a main room serving as a living room equipped with a sofa bed (140 cm bed) and a second bedroom (160 cm bed), a travertine bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and a toilet. A spiral staircase will take you to the large bedroom with exposed stone. Breakfasts can be taken on the terrace.
