We had a great time at Helene’s farmhouse. It is located in a beautiful, peaceful place in the countryside with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The farmhouse is not far from Bruz (a smaller town nearby)or Rennes the capital of Bretagne. St Mount Michele and St Malo are not that far either , just a couple of hours by car. In terms of communication host/cohosts were responsive. The place was clean, quiet, and private. Perfect for a family of four. Once you’re done with your sightseeings you can come back to the property and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful gardens and its surroundings. On the property you can also find a small pond with ducks, some gigantic Scottish cows, a hen house, and a cute kitty cat running around. It’s a very charming place. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely weekend at Blandine's. Absolutely impeccable accommodation, spacious, bright and well laid out, in the middle of beautiful green countryside. Welcoming hostess and very responsive in communication. We recommend it!

Sophie was an ideal host. Friendly and very helpful. Her guest house was relaxing with beautiful views of their farm. You’d never know it’s only 20 minutes from Rennes!

Our group of three retired adults from Texas and Maryland made Moulin (“Mill”) du Bury our home base for a week of daytrips exploring the highlights of Brittany … castles, chateaux, cathedrals and medieval town centers of Mont Saint-Michel, San Malo, Dinan, Dinard, Cancale (oysters!) Vitre, Vanne, the mysterious prehistoric aligned stones of Carnac, and the modern city of Rennes … all within an easy day-drive. The house is on an island in the Meu River with a scenic pond formed by two low dams. Interesting history as a mill. The owner and his wife met us at arrival and were gracious, helpful hosts and generous with their time describing the history of the place. Inside, the guest house itself is super clean and bright, equipped with modern conveniences, a very well-furnished kitchen, three bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows, eclectic original art and décor, and from the living room, a beautiful view of the pond and grounds. In sum, a five-star place and five-star hosts.
