“Dorothy’s stylish villa is part of a very well designed complex of 3 or 4 similar properties in a block with a fantastic view over the sea and thus the stunning sunsets. It is set in a local community a short walk down to a tiny but virtually totally private beach. Dorothy was very amenable when we had to check in an hour early due to logistical reasons. We were met with cold towels and cold beers. Very welcome! There was also a large bouquet of local flowers with a personalised message to greet us. The accommodation is very comfortable. There is a lovely breeze through the property if you leave the front door open do downstairs we didn’t need the fans or air con. Amazingly there is a daily ‘ maid’ service. Marcia was on hand to tidy, make beds and do laundry and ironing as needed. The terrace is stunning with a ‘plunge pool’ which is also a jacuzzi. We had a lovely stay which was over far too quickly. Thank you Dorothy and Marcia.”

“We had a wonderful stay at countryside apartment ( for 9 nights )in feb 2020. It’s a lovely apartment in the north west of Barbados and has everything you need. The apartment is very spacious and a lovely breeze runs through to help you keep cool It’s a quiet area with views of the sunset from the balcony. We decided to use the buses instead of hiring a car to get around as they stop right near the apartment and we never waited more than ten minutes for one. The buses are 3.50 Bajan dollars per ride. Marcella and Juliette kindly Offered to show us some of the island and lots of landmarks to help us to find our way around. This was really helpful. Also taking us to the shop so we could stock up at the beginning of our holiday And they provided tea coffe, milk, eggs and bread on our arrival. thank you.. We explored lots of different beaches and found our favorite beaches to be about 30 mins on the bus ( government are blue or yellow and private are white vans which will pick u up and drop you off anywhere.) it is a great way of getting around the island and meeting people. We enjoyed eating out at lots of different restaurants and cafes. So much choice! The only slight problem we had was with the internet in the apartment. We couldn’t connect to it sometimes although Juliette did try and sort this out while we were there. We had a fabulous time Thank you Juliette and Marcelo.”
Cannon Cottage is an authentic Barbadian chattel house with period furniture (antique). It is a cozy, quaint, rustic cottage surrounded by lush tropical gardens which enhance the privacy of the property. The rear of the property has a covered deck with the view of the garden and you will experience the island’s tropical breezes arising from the east coast of Barbados. It is two minutes away from the Harrison’s Point (a surfer’s paradise).
“Do yourself a favor and stay here! It was the best surprise, and we stayed at 4 bnb's at each directional (n/s/e/w) coast of the island over the course of our 16 day trip. We discovered early on that we preferred the natural, unbridled beauty in the northern tip of the island. This cottage blends into the surroundings but has an extra touch of whimsy and style! It is apparent that John loves this getaway and puts a lot of thought and time into the upkeep. He's also super kind and pleasant to talk with! Find a pretty cove to spend the day at the beach then come back to your cottage to cook dinner and spend time on the porch, looking at the stars and healthy amount of fairy lights. If you wake up early enough in the morning, there are monkeys sneaking by in the back of the yard. If you want to feel like a local in the best way, stay in this cottage!”
