Welcoming all to this light-filled renovated cabin to relax, sun, eat, play. Outside, three decks and big yard overlook Superior right next to l ush wetland with turtles, rabbits, birds, deer. Inside, comfortable open living room and full kitchen, two cozy cool bedrooms, new lux bathroom. Big tv and gas fireplace, games and music, endless windows and views. We cherish this place and island as a part-time home and writing retreat and we love to have others come share in a bit of lake island life.

Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

STELLA South Shore Stay is a gorgeous, one bedroom apartment just two blocks from Lake Superior with beautiful lake views. Located on Main Street in Ashland. Walk to Lake Superior in minutes, get a coffee at the Black Cat or a pastry at the bakery, or enjoy the many restaurants and shops on Main Street. But if you do choose to explore the area, Northwoods Nest is in a great location located five miles from Washburn, one mile from a (class 1 fishery) river, three miles from the beach and nine miles to Bayfield. A mature forest and a beautiful pond are what you'll see when you arrive at this cozy, secluded, full log cabin. The cabin was recently completely renovated (Mar/April 2025)from log to log and is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. It has all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, cabinetry. 💚 It is the perfect homebase to relax after a long day of hiking Frog Bay, Houghton Falls, Lost Creek Falls, Meyers Beach, or shopping in nearby Bayfield, Washburn, or Cornucopia.

Sylvan Chalet, Modern, Lakefront, Close to Trails

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. We have a NEMA 15-40R outlet for level 2 EV charging. You bring chord and adapter

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.
