we enjoyed our stay it was beautiful an peaceful although there was a smell in it that was my only complaint other than that was a wonderful stay

My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves very much! We originally chose a cabin for our stay! Upon arrival, Dusty greeted us and explained where everything was! We got to our cabin to find an unexpected water leak! Dusty quickly checked it out and placed us in one of his yurts! Honestly we ended up being glad it happened as it did the yurt was really nice! It’s a very beautiful peaceful place! Everyone is respectful to other visitors! We were really impressed with the whole set up and all the hard work dusty has put in to allowing others to be able to enjoy his space! Perfect little get away close to home! We will definitely be returning to stay again!

Location was amazing! The house was very clean. The host was very responsive and checked in everyday! The view of the water from the house was fantastic to wake up to! The access to a dock was fantastic great for fishing or just sitting by the water. Boat rental available! The house was as pictured no bad surprises. Great home to relax and unwind.

This place is a slice of heaven. We spent five days here over Thanksgiving and we did not want to leave. The cabin is beautiful and was spotless. Sid and Ted had the lights on, Christmas decorations up, and a pitcher of water welcoming us. The kitchen is completely stocked, and Sid made sure we had everything we could possibly need to cook a big turkey meal. Throughout the cabin, they thought of everything to make the stay wonderful and provided too many extras to list here. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We enjoyed daily walks around this gorgeous property, read on the porch’s rocking chairs, and a highlight for all of us - when Clay taught us how to rope! It was a bonus for us to meet Sid, Ted, Clay and Mallory - it honestly felt like we were visiting family. We have never met such warm, hospitable people and we cannot wait to return. It truly is a place to get away from it all - when you go, ask Ted about the history of how the cabin was built.

The best Air BnB ever! This place is such a gem I hated leaving. Quiet creek, rockers on the porch, even a swing over the creek—you’re going to love it!

We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Paradise! The cabin was very clean, and had everything we needed/wanted. Waters and fresh fruit in fridge upon arrival were a nice touch. Beds were comfy. On our four night stay, we relaxed on the porches, took walks, sat by the river, and even make a late afternoon fire with the chiminea on the top patio. We took a day trip to Cheaha State Park, about 30 minutes away, definitely recommend if you can make it! Barry was a great host and responsive to any issues that arose. A wonderful time was had by all!

Definitely worth the price. The steps to the water is a long way down. & we did see a patch in the window to the outside in the master bedroom. Other than that, we loved our stay. Good neighborhood, very quiet. We enjoyed the local park nearby. My favorite spot was the screened in back porch! We grilled both nights and ate outside.

Gorgeous views from the house and the back porch. 🌲🍁 The back porch is a dream🤩 Safe for dogs and kids and perfect for cocktails 🍹 and morning coffee. Large kitchen for cooking, with all you need- crock pot / toaster oven /pots and pans. 👩‍🍳 Large living area for family to watch a movie, arts and crafts, puzzles, play games and lots of toys available for the littles. Plenty of pillows / blankets / towels 15 mins to dollar general 20 mins to a nice grocery store Lake Martin pizza co. 🍕 yummy! We had a fantastic time hanging with family and relaxing. ☺️ Water pressure is low but doable. We hope to go back in the summer ! Thank you!

Great rustic charms. Very happy with the house and will consider using again next time we travel down there. WiFi worked super well. The kitchen was appointed well enough we cooked dinner nightly. Overall very happy.

Let me tell yall, out of all the places we've stayed at throughout the country, Maggie's place is our favorite so far. If you like the private, cozy, homey vibe, definitely stay here. We spent my birthday here, and the kitchen was big enough and we'll stocked enough to cook every meal plus hide a surprise birthday cake made for me. The bedrooms were nice and cozy with a bunch of pillows comfy beds. The bathrooms were clean and we'll stocked. Our favorite area of the house is the screened porch. It was so relaxing to sit on and just listen to the rain. Last but not least, the creek access. My bestie and I were there every morning, coffee in hand, and enjoying the water. It's refreshing during the warm humid days. Thank you so much, Maggie, for allowing us to stay at your lovely house! We had the best time!! Side note: Yall make sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitos and ticks!

This was our second stay. The house was clean and well maintained. DeeDee was extremely responsive. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Great place to stay. Plenty of covered parking for a bass boat and vehicle. Literally 5 minutes from the boat ramp. Will definitely stay there again!

Angela was a great host and so nice! She lawyers responded to all my questions I had and was so helpful during my stay. Her husband also offers fishing excursions as well. Overall my stay was so great. I would definitely stay there again when I do come back.

Very clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive. We stayed here while moving my daughter out of the University of Montevallo. It was about 20 minutes from campus. It was perfect for what we needed.
