Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chittenden County

It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

One of the BEST AirBnB stays we have ever had! The house and grounds are perfect for a VT getaway. It was the ideal home base for our adventures to Ben & Jerry's, Stowe, Woodstock, Middlebury, Burlington, and Hanover, NH. Jericho Market is only a few minutes away and has all the groceries you need (I seriously love the grocery store). Our favorite Maple Syrup experience was with the wonderful folks at Palmer Lane Maple in Jericho. Bob was wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend this house enough! Internet, hot water, space, privacy, kitchen tools, etc. were all perfect. We had an excellent time and would go back in a heartbeat. All four of us truly felt right at home.

We were 2 couples visiting children at UVM. The house was close enough to campus to go back and forth easily. The large kitchen and dining room meant we could cook big family dinners and sit around the table together - something we miss while they're at school. The rooms were large and clean with ample drawers and closet space and 8 of us easily slept there the night the kids stayed over. Bathrooms were great as well. We brought rackets and were able to use the public tennis courts right up the road. If the weather were nicer I'm sure we could have grilled and taken advantage of the huge back yard. There were 2 spots in the large, clean garage and plenty of driveway parking. All in all it was a much more affordable, versatile place to stay than downtown hotels.

My family and I had a short, but great stay when we were in town for an event. We had a blast in the garage playing darts, ping pong and doing a puzzle. We did end up taking a few dirt roads to get to the Airbnb, but it’s a beautiful spot and has plenty of space for a large group. We would highly recommend Missy’s house to others!

Beautiful house with private beach access to the lake. The house was amazing, super cute, and relatively convenient. 20 minute drive to Burlington and about an hour from Stowe. We were surprised by the beautoful sunset views. We would defonitely stay here again.

Family of 5 on our first ski trip to Smugglers. The home and property was amazing. Steven was a great host and communicated well. We enjoyed the views and the fireplace the most. As mentioned in the description there is a caretaker/renter that lives above the garage and he was very nice and made sure to see if we had any issues getting down the driveway because it had just snowed 6-8 inches. He said he would make sure the driveway was plowed and just a short while later it was cleared and cleared for the remainder of the stay. It was a great experience.

Steven’s place was the perfect Vermont retreat for our family. The location was convenient to Burlington and Bolton Ski Valley. The sauna hit the spot after a day of spring skiing! The kitchen was well appointed and had high quality pots and pans/knives, appliances, etc. we had a fantastic stay! Thank you Steven!

My stay at Daniel's place was pleasant, the place is just as described, the neighborhood is nice and you can walk to many cool cafes and restaurants from there.

We've stayed in dozens of Airbnbs, including several in and around Burlington, and this is one we'll come back to! Our hosts' hospitality stood out as exceptional, which is even more impressive given that Brian was out of the country and JoAnn and Bill were out of state. We enjoyed being just a few minutes off the bike path, having convenient parking, and having easy access to downtown Burlington. The space was well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. We were in and out of the apartment all weekend and felt like we were coming home upon each return.

Robin and Mark (and their dog!) were ideal hosts. My only challenge was that I didn't have a car, which is difficult on their street with no sidewalks ... especially with snow! But I made it safely on foot everywhere I needed to go.

We stayed at this AirBnB as part of a family visit to North Hero, VT (further north) and I accidentally only booked one night instead of two. Jonathan was SUPER responsive and understanding, luckily there were no guests the second night so we extended the booking and Jonathan waived the cleaning fee for the first night so we only paid once. If you're looking for somewhere that can house numerous people in a quiet neighborhood and a host that's super responsive then highly recommend! Thanks again Jonathan!

The home was very comfortable and spacious. The sun room in particular was a wonderful bonus room. The stove was appreciated and added that special touch of warmth. I would definitely recommend Jackie's home to others and would stay here again if I am ever in the area.

We had a great holiday weekend in Charlotte at Robert's apartment. It was close to the mountains we wanted to climb and a nature preserve where we skied. Close to Burlington and Middlebury where we found dinner each night. The apartment is cozy and comfortable; really a delightful place. We also met Robert who was funny and the perfect host. We stayed during a massive winter storm that dumped so much snow on the area and Robert was always very interested in making sure we could get out of the driveway! There were also thoughtful snacks and what not for us when we arrived which is such a nice bonus. We will definitely check to see if the apartment is available the next time we come to VT. Thank you so much, Robert! We hope to stay with you again soon.

Robert’s Bee Haven was just perfect for me. I was looking for privacy and personal space. There was plenty of living space to do yoga, cook, study and a desk to work at. I felt like I could decompress like I do at home after a long day. When I did speak to Robert in person he was sincere and gave great local suggestions! I had a wonderful trip.

Erin’s place looks even more beautiful than the photos! A great private apartment, very clean and has everything you could need. The place is full of thoughtful touches and she even included treats that we loved. She was very responsive and gave a ton of local recommendations which we found very helpful. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Erin for a fantastic stay!

We stayed at Jennifer's cabin for our annual ski trip. The location is right next to Sugarbush and close to Mad River Glen, which meant we could get right on the slopes in the morning. The cabin was clean and cozy, with all the amenities you would want in a ski cabin. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after coming off the hill. Also, there were plenty of local restaurants to eat at close by. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is very cute and the beach access is amazing. The hose is nice, gave clear instructions. This is located close to Burlington and offers plenty of things to do when away :)

My group had a wonderful stay. Maude provided all the info you could need before arriving. The cabin had plenty of cookware and supplies to last our stay. Everything was clean, easy to use, and Maude was very responsive to any inquiries. I would stay here again!

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was! Fenced in yard. Blankets to cover the furniture to allow dogs on them. Close enough to many different ski mountains. Perfect to come home to the wood stove and hot tub.

No Notes! Everything was just perfect! Couldn’t ask for anything else. Pictures truly don’t do the views justice! Can’t wait to come back

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

A beautiful and quiet little cabin, exactly as pictured and great for a countryside getaway. Could happily sleep a few friends there without feeling too crowded, and plenty of space in the kitchen/lounge area too! Thanks for the coffee, and I imagine it's gorgeous there in the autumn!
