Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Circa 1780, The Smithy is part of a Grade II listed, thatched property. Recently extended, it is now a cosy, light-filled, self-contained annex with private access, ideal from which to explore the beautiful North Devon countryside. Accessed via steps to a stable door is a relaxing living/dining space, a double bed on a mezzanine floor and a small shower room. Guests have access to a small patio with seating in the cottage's lovely gardens.
