Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chorafakia

We felt very comfortable in the stone, small summer house. We loved the courtyard covered by an old vine. In the evening you could illuminate it comfortably and beautifully. We were pleased that there were all the necessary spices in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome you. The location in a quiet side street but still only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the old village center of Colombia is ideal. The handover and communication with Dimitrios was very nice and straightforward. We are happy to recommend the place! We felt very comfortable in the small stone summer house. We spent 10 days at the property with our 2 1/2 year old son. The house is well equipped and really offers everything to have a nice time in the area. The village is secluded from the hustle and bustle, but still offers 2 nice taverns and cafes; and in a few minutes' drive you are on the beach or in one of the numerous taverns in a neighboring village. Nektaria was a great host, always available. We'd love to come back!

It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

Mike is super nice and the flat is very comfortable and sourounded by mountains. Is really nice for hiking trips as well as relaxing and sitting on the terrace and having dinner. There are 4 taverns/ hotel kitchens in omalus, which are ok tastewise. But you can also cook at Mike apartment. His raki is tasty and the olive oil also very nice. Also it’s just 5min from the Samaria entrance by car.

This place was just as described and Katrina was the most friendly and generous person bringing many lovely homemade things for us. I would certainly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of real Crete.

A clean and tidy place to stay. Christos was very responsive and gave great tips for the visit. It's a bit of a challenging location, but the car is fine.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for an autumn vacation and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. The house is clean, well-maintained, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The amenities provided were more than adequate, and everything functioned as expected. One thing to note is that the hosts live on-site, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but their presence was definitely felt compared to other Airbnbs we stayed in so far. Nevertheless, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a well-kept, dog friendly space with hosts who are nearby to assist.

It was all great, absolutely clean and the apartment spacious and comfortable! In a very nice spot by the beach and the hosts absolutely friendly and kind, I highly recommend it!

A lovely place in a cute village, surrounded by olive trees. A gorgeous view from the terrace. The house manager communicates very well, with fast, clear and friendly instructions. Special mention: the owners Elena and Michail also run a delightful restaurant 30min away. It is well worth going, for the food, the view, but most importantly to meet with them! They have been sooo incredibly welcoming and it was a treat to have a chat with them both. I definitely recommend

Great apartment in a quiet area, but a minute's walk from the sea and an area with many bars overlooking the sea. 10 minutes from the old town. Apartment with small terrace with excellent sea view (2 chairs and coffee table), pleasant especially at night and in the morning. Another very large covered terrace with a tent, which is also equipped with a barbecue. The apartment looks good with all comforts. Practical and pleasant stay. Host punctual in responses and suggestions. Very appreciated. Car parking available on the neighboring streets but always a maximum of 2 minutes from the apartment. We 4 of us (two adults and two children) had a great time taking advantage of the large space available.

We enjoyed our stay with Georg very much. Especially the garden was so great for our two boys with plenty of space to run around and great play opportunities. We were spoiled with delicious olive oil and freshly picked salad and were able to snack on pomegranate from the garden. Communication with Georg was always flawless and fast. He and his family were always so helpful and so friendly. We were even allowed to watch the olive harvest and learned so much about it from Georg. The surroundings are great for various excursions. We highly recommend George's place.

We stayed for 9 days in a beautiful apartment, very clean and well equipped. The apartment is about 10/15 minutes from the center of Chania, in front of a supermarket and in our opinion, is at the right distance from all the most beautiful beaches (1.45h max). The order, cleanliness and equipment of the apartment allowed us to enjoy our stay to the fullest! I would like to give a special thank you to the very nice Chrysoula. She was very kind, sociable and available to answer all our questions. She was the first local we met and it really warmed our hearts to meet her…thank you! We will definitely stay again. AMAZING, unique place. Lots of lounging space for families. Very authentic and rustic. The balcony was a favorite spot to hang out and play cards or watch the harbor. Nina was always available for questions and had fabulous recommendations. Loved it all!

We had a lovely stay. Everything worked well and location was really nice. There are nice beaches nearby and restaurants and grocery stores are also close. The area is quiet and nice. The balcony is really nice and has a great view. It is larger than the pictures indicate, and we spend both morning and evening sitting there and enjoying the view. Katerina was really flexible and friendly when we arrived. The place was easy to find. We had rented a car, and the parking worked nicely.

We had a wonderful time at the house. Very relaxing and an ideal place to explore the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed and we lacked nothing. Something to nibble on and drink was also already available. The sea is just a stone's throw away. Shopping on foot, visiting a restaurant and it even has a bus stop. In other words, you could also travel without a rental car. Ideal for travelers wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent Many thanks to Hannah and the homeowner.

We had a lovely week at Anna’s place. It was our first family holiday and a great place to enjoy some time together. The space is modern, clean and light. The outside areas are spacious and although the pools were a little chilly (we visited in October), we spent lots of time outside. The roof terrace has wonderful views. The villa is walking distance to lovely restaurants with sea views, a park with children’s play area, beaches and supermarkets - we didn’t need a car at all! Anna went above and beyond to help us during our stay!

We had a a very nice & comfortable stay at Adonis’ villa! The kids loved the pool, which was the sensation of our stay! Big spacious rooms and beds, with stylish furniture. The coffee machine w coffee pods, wine, sandwiches and salad made it for a warm welcome! We definitely recommend!
