Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chuo Ward

When you get into the house, the feeling is very, very much. It's one of the best places to stay on airbnb. The decor of the house is beautiful. The bedroom, kitchen, bathroom are good. The exterior of the house is quiet, perfect, but relaxing. It feels like your own home.

Great location close to the castle and also to the city activities. The accommodation was very nice and located in a peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kumamoto. Akiko was a great host, very helpful and highly responsive.

The host was very kind and thoughtful to help the little friend prepare a small souvenir of Kumamoto bear. I also took a memorial photo with the host's little friend, this Kumamoto experience was great ~

The accommodation is better than it looks It was neat and cozy, and it was nice to have a large table and chairs for several people to hang out. There was a terrace, and the parking lot was about the size of two large SUVs, so it was comfortable. However, it is difficult to walk to the downtown area, so you have to use a car or public transportation.

We were greeted by the hosts upon arrival, and they thoroughly explained to us all of the amenities. We decided to go for the BBQ rental service for 3600 JPY (2 ppl); the host sets up the charcoal grill for you at the desired time, and his wife can help wash the vegetables if needed. They also offer breakfast, but we decided to opt out. The shower had ample hot water, albeit a few bugs (to be expected from an outdoor shower) We ended up having a great time eating Miyazaki wagyu purchased at a butcher recommended by the host :) The bedding was also quite cozy even if they weren’t actual beds. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to do a pit stop in Yamato, especially if you’re on the road to Mount Aso / Takachiho afterwards.

If you want to experience a real Japanese house, this is the best option you can choose! The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The beds super comfortable and all the amenities in good conditions! We’ve been so happy with the house that we wish we stayed more! Also, the check-in process was super easy thanks to Shota’s clear instructions and fast replies. Thanks again!

Hide-san is very kind and was there to walk us through every corner of the house. The well-stocked kitchen was very helpful as many restaurants closed early during golden week. On top of that, the toilet and bedding were both clean and comfortable. We drove to Kuju and Aso; distance wise, everything is below 1 hour. We will definitely stay again next time!

Great location and a spacious house with two large bathrooms. The two washing machines also have built-in dryers, which is a big plus! I’ll definitely choose Yurie’s Airbnb again.

Great place! It's not huge, but a great value. Centrally located, quiet, has everything you'd need and a lot of options for food, shopping, groceries nearby. Recommended.

Seiko is a great host.Always responsive to messages and help appropriately.The location of this home is fantastic, shopping street downstairs and very close to the station.Convenience stores are also very close.The house was clean and the check-in instructions were clear.We were both here for three nights and we were happy.The house is exactly as the photos show.Thank you Seiko for providing such a great place to stay in Kumamoto, we were lucky to have such a place to stay while we were visiting Kumamoto.We highly recommend this property to all!

It was a very beautiful, stylishly furnished, and cozy space. It was also helpful to be able to do laundry anytime again. The bathroom was only a shower room, but it was not easy to use, and there were also many hot springs where you can take a day trip bath within a few kilometers, so it was comfortable. The bedroom is just up the ladder, so I don't recommend it very much for people with bad legs, but I wanted to recommend it for others! I would love to use it again!

A nice place to stay when you’re in the city, easy parking too

Very cozy and beautiful interior, it was extremely clean and comfortable! Appreciate all the video instructions with how to use the washing machine (laundry detergent provided), microwave, etc, and the bottled water provided. There is a 7-11 very nearby and the parking spot for unit 201 is easy to access. We experienced some unfortunate difficulties with the lock but Aya-san helped us resolve it quickly both times and even drove down to the unit to help. Thank you again Aya-san!
