We loved our stay on Eigg! The view from the bothy was stunning & we were very taken with the chickens and sheep outside the door. Sue was so helpful throughout our stay and even let us know about a ceilidh that was happening on the island during our trip.

When we were looking for a relaxing break away - Byre 7’s pictures stood out from the crowd, but when we arrived - we realised that they didn’t even do justice to how incredible the views were. Sally recommended where to go and what ‘tourist traps’ to stay away from and we couldn’t be happier with the Skye experience we had. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a relaxing break away.

Great cabin in a beautiful location. Spacious, yet cosy (especially when the log fire is burning!). Sarah and her Dad were lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location with a great view to the south east and an ever changing sky. Loved that we had our own personal curlew feeding in the field next door and easy access to walks/cycles up to An Sgurr, Cleadale, Laig Bay, Singing Sands, Beinn Bhuide, Kildonan, and Grulin. Getting home from some arduous outings in the cool late September air in a northerly airstream was delicious when we discovered that the black cladding of the Eigg Shed had absorbed the heat of the day and was toasty inside - no need for the stove! The shed had a great selection of books for the early autumn onset of darkness including the excellent 'James' by Percival Everett, a retelling of Twain's Huckleberry Finn.
